Question:

NASCAR Ticket Sales?

I was talking with a few business friends and we were wondering how there are so many sites on the web that sell NASCAR tickets. Do these sites have a deal already in place with NASCAR to sell tickets? Or do they buy them wholesale?

If you search "NASCAR tickets" in a search engine there are thousands of businesses that sell them. I thought they were all working from an affiliate based agreement where each site gets commission but they disagreed with me.

Does anyone know how all the racing sites are able to sell tickets to NASCAR races?

  1. Some sites are legit, such as Ticketmaster. You can trust them and know you are getting real tickets, if not a good price. If you know the site as trustworthy then go for it. I have also used Raceawayhospitality.com. They offer hotel, race tickets, and motorcoach transportation packages that , although a little pricey, are a lot of fun. And you can drink and party all you want for free, and don't have to drive back to the hotel. (Which is something pretty fancy like the Embassy Suites or Hilton, unlike what we all usually stay at. Oh admit it! You been to the Hotel6 or Econolodge. Eeeck!  Was that a roach?)

Other than a these and a maybe some other exeptions, I would only buy tickets from the official track website or my travel agent. That way you know for sure you're getting what you paid for.

  2. I agree 100% with Dianne. Buy from the track, it's NO TELLING WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH elsewhere. Better to be safe with legit tix than to be sorry without. Just an opinion as always.

  3. They will sell you the tickets...They are like a broker for car insurance...They will still make a buck...

  4. racetickets.com is actually Daytona International Speedway & ISC's headquarters, located at Daytona USA (AKA: Daytona 500 Experience). That's where I get my Daytona tickets. And I have to use ticketmaster for my Atlanta tickets.

Also places like stubhub is where people can list their individual tickets for sale, and it's tied into ebay.

Other places like the Atlanta Motor Speedway section of ticketmaster.com & bristolmotorspeedway.com have link to different ticket exchange sites set up through the individual tracks.

Those are the only ones that I am familiar with though.

  5. they probably get a percentage of sales..but i would never buy from them..i always buy direct from the track websites and charge my tickets and get the insurance in case canceled or postponed (that way, not lose my money),i do not trust the other sites , sorry that's all i got and just my opinion k
