  1. DRIVER..preferably J.Gordon

  2. better driver, a good driver can make the car good not vice versa

  3. CAR!!!

Case in point: Tony Stewart has more talent in his pudgy fingers than any driver out there...including Kyle Busch. Yet, between the equipment and crew chief, Bushy Boy has the better car.

The fact is, you need both. A bad car with a good driver will yield mediocre results. A good car with a bad driver will yield medicore results.

As a side note: A good car and a good driver with a mediocre crew chief will yield, yet again, mediocre results.

    FIRE TONY EURY JR!!!

  4. that is a hard question.  On one hand, the best car doesn't do much without a great driver, but on the other hand, a great driver can't do a whole lot with a bad car.  I guess I would rather have the best car and hope the driver made good decisions.

  5. better driver hands down,  a better driver can get the most out of a POS car, a better car's potential won't be realized by a crapppy driver. (case in point mears at hendrick.)

  6. I would rather have a better driver. The best driver can maneuver easily around turns, etc. You can always fix a car but you can't change the driver.

  7. Driver, you can always fix up a car. You can't really fix the driver.

  8. you want the good car because you can only throw so much stuff at a car (junior great drive but this past weekend the car sucked and they kept trying to fix it)... your driver will get better with experience

  9. Driver .Just ask Steve Addington.

  10. Driver.

  11. Car, no matter how good the driver is a bad car will not win races.  Even the most average of drivers can win if he has the best car.

    J

  12. a car doesnt move without a driver, no matter how good it is

  13. Deniftely better driver because even if you have a suped up car and the driver stinks, you still couldn't win.

  14. do i get to pick the driver? carl edwards! *HOT!* we wouldn't need the car...lol!

  15. Driver....Earnhartd...Talladega 18th place with 11 laps to go and take the led with 2 to go and wins. He broke from the train of cars and made his own line......so Driver by all means

  16. I gave you a star because this is a tough question. After much thought, I'd say driver.

  17. I'd rather have Kyle Busch...a better driver. Case in point:

At Chicagoland Saturday. He didn't have the best car, Jimmie Johnson's was much better. Well, on the green white checkers, Kyle was able to get to his outside and keep his car under control, while Jimmie got loose down low, despite having a better car. The same thing happened in turn 4, and that allowed Kyle to clear Jimmie's car. He just flat outdrove him, and that says a lot considering we're talking about a 2 time champion.

Not to mention, Kyle has made a couple great saves this season at Talladega and Daytona, and had it been just your average driver in a great car, there would have been a massive wreck both times. Instead, Kyle made some great saves, and actually went on to win both races. And he didn't really seem to have the best car in either instance, just was able to be in the right place at the right time, when in reality, he should have wrecked, but saved it.

  18. Better driver, most definitely!

A sub-par driver could be in the best car on the track, he's still going to yield sub-par results.

A great driver will be able to get a piece of junk a decent finish. Not great, but decent. Work on the car, and you'll have a great car with a great driver, and you'll be kickin' butt all over the place!!

  19. driver

  20. Driver. As we've been shown many times this year, drivers can sometimes make a difference when the car is beyond repair. Look at Jeff Gordon this year. How many times has he had a car that wasn't worth anything and he got his team a top ten or five finish. You can always make adjustments on a car during a race, but you can't change the way your driver drives.

  21. the  driver

  22. That is a tough question. I feel that Kyle is a good driver but look how much better he is doing in the Toyota this year compared to the Chevy last year. I think I would take a decent driver in a real good car.......................
