NBA 2K8 Updates. Help Please!?

Question

I have NBA 2K8 for PS3 and I am getting bored of all the old rosters. (Ex. No Gasol on the Lakers and no Shaq on the Suns)

Is there any way i can update the game to have up to date rosters. Thank you.

If you play online there are automatic updates that you can save to your console if not you can get them from someone who does from a memory card transfer.

uyea u can do that if u have xbox live or get it from another person

when you play  online after a while you get roster changes like every 3 months

you need internet, after that go online on the main menu of 2k8 (i got ps3 also)

then when ur online go to the to downloads on the online menu, its pretty easy once u get online

I have it for the 360 so it might be different but go to the live menu and go to downloadable content and download the latest rosters

Yes, go to Options--> Trade Players and manually trade everyone to their current teams.

I have a PS3 also.  All you need to do is hook your system up to the internet.  Go to the online play.  It will tell you that there's a roster update available and asks if you would like to save it for offline play.  Select yes.  Then you should be able to load that saved roster file and have all the roster changes since the 08 trade deadline.  If you want to change things like Mo Williams to the Cavs, you'll have to do that manually.
