NBA 2k9 vs NBA Live?

Which game should be better and the better cover athlete.

NBA 2k9- Kevin Garnett

NBA Live 2009- Tony Parker

2k9 is better hands down. And yea Kevin Garnett would be cool for a cover. But i have ps2, and i dont want tony parker to be on the cover cause hes not exactly young.

I mostly play NBA Live because I have a computer.  NBA Live 08 had many mistakes and glitches.  Live 09 cannot be worst.  When I played NBA 2k? games I like them better.  2k9 have the better cover athlete because Garnett just won the title.

I like both cover athletes, but NBA 2k9 has always blown NBA live out of the water.  It also depends on what type of game u like.  Do you like more of an arcade feel game, then go with NBA live.  If you like a more realistic game then go with NBA 2k9.

KG better athlete, and for game, I mean I play 2k8 but not cause I like it but cause Live sucks so much, This year my friend whose a 2k9 fannatic told me that Live looks great and that he might get it, 05 and 06 live were great and 07 both sucked, 2k8 is currently ok so Im goin with that, but who knows live might rebound, I mean EA sports has more resources

I dont like tony parker and kg is better so kg.  Live was good until 07.  It is so stupid that you can shoot a lay up behind the freaking backboard and that you can get a block by deflecting a pass and even have two blocks if one guy blocks it and some other guy tries to get rebound but instead the game makes him block it.  Live does have great graphics.  2k8 was better but had the worse graphics ever but the gameplay was good.  In 2k8 also they have things that say they can shoot threes but they end up bricking 9 out of 10 times while in nba live you can see where the guy can make it.  I like ea and nba live series more and i hope its better than 2k9 but if ea doesnt improve their gameplay, trophy goes to 2k9
