NBA - Chicago Bulls making their “moves”
This year’s trade market was one of the busiest and biggest in the NBA history. With big names like LeBron James and Chris Bosh moving to Miami Heat, NBA witnessed a lot of buzz lately. Some fans consider the move would be successful while others have opposite views. The Miami Heat has come up with big signings, with other teams following its footsteps.
Trying to recapture the days in which they were the only dominating force in the NBA, the Bulls intended to sign LeBron James, who is expected to bring the same royals as Michael Jordan once did. After failing to sign King James, the Bulls came up signing Carlos Boozer to further boost their talented squad that lacked experience. LeBron joined the Miami Heat that couldn’t manage to get past the first round playoffs. Not only did the Bulls sign Boozer but came up with another amazing signing that strengthens three scoring abilities by bagging Kyle Korver, a three-point specialist from the Utah Jazz.
Not only this, the Bulls also managed to trade away some players from their squad so that they could rotate the players and every person in the team could play without any conflicts.
The Bulls has it all except players with many years of experience. The team just needs the icing on the cake or the final touch. The players that have been traded out of the Bulls include their centre Brad Miller to Houston Rockets. Although Brad is one of the most regular and serviceable players in the team; his replacement can do Bulls some good. The best replacement in the regard would be the two-time scoring champion from the place where centre landed.
The trade of Hinrich, if takes place, would result in Derrick Rose playing more minutes for the Bulls greatly multiplying the chances of victory with a smooth defence. Roonie Brewer is another athletic shooting guard that has been added to the Bulls squad who can also be very dangerous on the offense while being solid on the defence. Not only this, the Bulls are interested in signing the seven-time All-Star Tracy McGrady who is also being eyed by Los Angeles Clippers and Miami. If McGrady comes on terms with the Bulls, then he is likely to come off the bench and start with the powerhouses Derrick Rose at the back.
The Bulls also tried signing the Diesel, Shaquille O’Neal but couldn’t manage in doing so. Shaq is one of the big names of the NBA these days, and wherever he goes he brings along champs titles. Being part of Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat, Big Shamrock managed to win 4 titles. Some say that the deal between Bulls and Diesel was on the verge of taking place when all of a sudden Shaq decided to go to Boston in hunt for his fifth title.
The Bulls are one of the strong teams in the Eastern conference and is expected to make it to the Eastern Finals. Players like Jalen Rose will be up against Bulls’ LeBron James and both being experienced now don’t need any advices. It’s up to themselves to battle their nerves and opponents to come out on top. LeBron is certainly not the one looking up to for any kind of assistance; in fact he is one player who will do whatever he likes and whatever he thinks is right.
