Chicago Bulls are known for their dominant era in the 90’s led by the legendary Michael Jordan along with his teammates Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. Although after the Michael’s departure from the team, the franchise was left to rot.
However, Bulls fans say the time has come for the team to rise again and dominate. They were led to believe so after the Bulls drafted Derrick Rose as the first pick overall. A young aspiring player, who at the age of only 21, has shocked the NBA nation with his relentless play. Most fans already believe he is “the one” who will fill in Jordan’s shoes and take the desperate team for another run at the upcoming playoffs this year.
Ever since Derrick Rose has stepped foot in the league he has been fortunate enough to qualify for the playoffs and has played over 40 minutes in 2008-09 and 2009-10 Playoff Season. The awe-inspiring player kept an astounding average of 22.7 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game with 6.8 assists.
Basketball pundits say the only thing that the Chicago Bulls were missing was a true veteran player who could mentor Derrick as he is still young in the league. The Bulls listened and signed onto Carlos Boozer who was the face of Utah Jazz last year.
Boozer at 6’9” stuns the spectator’s every time when he steps on to the court with his versatility and agility. He came to the league not long ago and has proved to be a world-class player making an appearance in the All-Stars team twice. Boozer has taken the Utah Jazz twice to the Conference Semi-finals and once to the Conference Finals. His consistency has led him to a notable career average of 20.0 with 12.7 rebounds.

The matchup between this year’s championship winners and the Bulls would take place on 10th of December 2010. Now who does not want to take a shot at the champions? Lakers might not be in the lime light right now but the truth is, they are still the champions and they are still the team to beat.
The Lakers added the notorious Matt Barnes to their roster, so Kobe now has another batman to support him and together they will dominate undoubtedly. Bulls are in for a big game, which will put Derrick and Boozers abilities to the test.
2. Utah Jazz vs. the Chicago Bulls
Boozers fans cannot wait to see him go against his former team the Utah Jazz along with Kyle Krover. The tension between the franchises are predicted to be high, just like Pat Riley general manger of the Miami Heat, Gar Forman who is the Bulls GM stole three key players from the Utah Jazz. Boozer, Krover and Ronnie Brewer. The three would rock the house on 9th of February 2011 along with Derrick.
Utah does not have much to offer besides Mehmet Okur and Al Jefferson, the team is not even going to make it to the playoffs this year. A lot of boos will be expected from the Utah fans directed towards the Bulls, nevertheless the match between the two teams would be quite engaging.
1. Oklahoma City Thunder vs. the Chicago Bulls
Unquestionably the most interesting game to watch as Derrick will take on Kevin Durant, who is also 21, and is the face of the Thunder’s. It’s a tough call to say who will win the match, as Kevin is only a year senior to him in the league but with almost the same scoring averages. This match will determine if the newly built Bulls really have the strength and talent to beat the Thunders.
