NBA- Chris Paul’s possible destinations (Part 1)
One of the players in the NBA, who so eagerly wants to leave his current team to join a team that would allow him to exploit his talents and win a championship title, is Chris Paul. This most extravagant point guard of the league has a lot of team options. He wants a team that could be the same as that of the Miami Heat so as to assure a career that would have at least some championship titles. Though this player is content with playing with Carmelo Anthony, it’s not a concrete choice.
According to experts, one of the destination options for Chris Paul, is the Portland Blazers, with one of the richest owners in the league heading the team. Experts say the Portland Blazers are the second best team in the league heading into the 2010-11 Season in their respective conference. Though on paper the Blazers are a strong team, when it comes to the past couple of seasons then it has been a disappointing few seasons for them. Experts think the reason for this is the lack of centre and point guard players in the team that directly affects the scoring of the team and has disappointing results despite being ranked as the second best team.
Though Chris has to stay with the Hornets this season, the experts say that who knows when the next season begins we might well see him in a Blazers jersey. Experts also say that this player is one of the most talented players in the NBA and the skills and adaptability quality that he has would enable him to become a part of the Blazers team very quickly. Reports also say that this player is one whose playing style would suit the team and not only this but the team more importantly would support him. Experts say that if this extravagant player was to join the Blazers then without a doubt the Blazers would be major contenders for the title during the 2011-12 seasons.
Denver Nuggets in another option for this player and if Carmelo doesn’t move from the Nuggets then his wish to play with Carmelo Anthony might well come true. Now that it is a time in the NBA where players are looking to join hands rather than being against each other, this might be the perfect destination for the ever so talented Chris Paul. Experts say that the NBA could save one of the most dynamic duos of all time if this deal were to take place since the time of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. With the two big and young names in the NBA joining hands according to experts would result in Championship contention for the Nuggets from the very first season, which both players so desperately want.
Though the experts know that this deal is far from taking place as the Nuggets do not have enough money but with the recent happenings, who knows anything is possible. Experts have already come up with one package for the Hornets in which they say that it might be a good option to send Chauncey Billups along with some money to the Hornets and then bring in the best point guard of the league to Denver.
The experts say that this deal would be the most favourable and fruitful for this player as he would be playing in an environment that he wants, which would raise the comfort level of this player resulting in glory for not only him but for the Nuggets. However, it remains to be seen whether the Nuggets can come up with a good deal to urge the Hornets to send Chris Paul to Denver.
