NBA: Dwayne Wade and Miami Heat- a lifelong relationship; Kevin Durant and Oklahoma City Thunder- an unending tie
Dwayne Wade of Miami Heat and Kevin Durant of Oklahoma City Thunder are two NBA players, who would most probably remain loyal and devoted towards their current teams till the very end of their careers.
Experts believe that it is by no why possible that either of the newly formed trio of Miami Heat, which comprises of Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James, would be separated as neither of them would want to leave Heat. The only reason that could lead to one of the player’s departure might be retirement. If that’s the case then Wade will be the first one to leave the team.
The 28-year-old is two years younger than Bosh while three years older than James. His contract tells him to stay at the Miami Heat until he is 34 years old. Experts say that a player of his caliber and talent usually isn’t able to keep up with the performance that he once has after 34, so they expect him to retire as soon as his career at the Miami Heat ends.
Meanwhile, it is being thought that there hasn’t been a player in the NBA like Kevin Durant for a long time. Not only has he turned into a superstar during the early part of his career but he is also emerging as a role model for many basketball fans all around the world. This extravagant player has been able to bag a whole lot of achievements like Rookie of the Year, NBA All-Star and is now becoming one of the big men and leader of the US national team.
Along with this comes his passion for Oklahoma City Thunder. This extravagant player has bonded to the Thunders as if he has been part of their franchise for ages now. He regards all his teammates there as brothers while the team as his family. The most notable thing is that he has never complained about anything at Thunders whether it is wrong or right. The player is reported to have said that whatever the team decides is in the best interest of the players.
