NBA - Erik Spoelstra keen on focusing over the defensive game
Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra is busy these days and experimenting with his coaching methods to get the best results from his team. The practice session of Miami Heat under the coaching of Spoelstra will start this week at the Hurlburt Field in Florida.
The team will focus on defence during the practice session and the coach will make sure that everything goes according to the plan. It is already assumed by the players that the practice session will be of serious condition and not at all easy.
In a very recent interview the Heat guard Dwyane Wade expressed his views about the practice session going to be held at Hurlburt Field and told the media that he is very well aware of the seriousness of the practice level and he is looking forward for that.
When Dwyane was asked about the focus of the coaching session the basketball veteran guard told the media that the first two days of the session will be about the defence, as defending a player or a ball plays is really crucial in significant games. He added
that he is very excited about it as the Miami Heat team is considered as one of the best defensive teams of the basketball world. Later he added that he is really looking forward for a strong outcome and he will try his level best to improve and give his best
during the practice session to improve his skills.
The practice session will take place on U.S Air Force base. For the practice session, the Miami Heat basketball team landed at the airbase of Eglin and was warmly welcomed by the air force personnel and their families.
The coach Erik Spoelstra expressed his excitement and happiness about his plans and ambitions and told the media that he is very happy to see the military personnel and Miami heat fans on the Air Base and the session is going to be much more exothermic now.
While talking about his plans for the future game, Spoelstra expressed his thoughts and ambitions by saying that the players are mentally prepared and it will take them a very little time to understand the entire chemistry of the practice session. The coach
added that he is feeling very lucky to be here on the air base as it a very great opportunity for him and the players to meet the military men. The coach Spoelstra has always been keen and focused towards the defence section of the game.
When the veteran James LeBron was asked about his feelings of being with the team and the thrilling and tough practice session, he expressed himself quite excitedly and said that he is aware of the challenges coming ahead and he is looking forward to give
his full for the team. He added that he is a very good defensive player and he loves to play that way. He said that basket ball is a game which is won by the complete team work, and he knows how to play and cooperate with his teammates during a match.
The training camp for the Miami Heat is not only to sharpen their skills of defensive play but is also to give the players the required confidence to start the season in a passionate manner. It is to be notified that some players of the Miami heat seemed
a little out of touch in the previous season. “We need to work over our team work and that is the first and foremost focus of our training camp”; said, Dwyane Wade. He added that they needed to play and work as one unit during a match and teammates’ cooperation
has no substitute.
The training camp of Miami Heat on the Air Base, is no doubt, very important for the team as it will give them the idea to start and plan for the upcoming games.
