Every year there are players that are honoured in their respective sport by induction into the Hall of Fame. Every player is given respect after they retire from the sport and the standout performers are the ones who enjoy their inclusion in this exclusive club. Our focus today will be on some of the players in NBA who will make their way to the Hall of Fame according to experts. Once they retire it might be just a matter of months or years that you will see them in Springfield ready to receive their Hall of Fame award.
One of the most dominating players in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal is without a doubt one of the greatest five players in the NBA. With career statistics of 28,255 points, 12,291 rebounds, 2,690 blocks and averaging 24.1 points per game and 11.0 rebounds per game. Though Shaq is greatly criticized for changing his team, Shaq is surely to reach the Hall of Fame. Shaq has a long list of achievements that include 15 All Star appearances, three All Star MVP awards, 1993 Rookie of the Year, 2000 NBA MVP, three times NBA Finals MVP and most importantly, four-time NBA Champion. Shaq has won three out of the four championships with the Lakers team at the time when Shaq and Kobe were the best duo in the NBA and won the fourth title with the Miami Heat. This year he has signed with the Boston Celtics and is looking to make it five titles to his name.
With athletic abilities and accuracy of shots Kobe Bryant is known as one the hardest working and perfect players in NBA today. Some experts say that Kobe Bryant is one the best players that the NBA has seen after Michael Jordan. Kobe is said to be a strong and skilful player and his style of play has enabled him to have a long list of career achievements that include 81 points in a game, 10 All NBA Defensive selections, 12 times All Star, three All Star game MVP’s, two time scoring champion, 2008 MVP, five time NBA champion and last but not the least the extravagant player is two time NBA Finals MVP. With the experts saying that this player has about 4-5 years still left, Kobe can still work his way to be known as the greatest in the business.
Tim Duncan is another player, who is sure to reach the Hall of Fame once he retires. Tim is one of the standout performers, who according to experts is the Ultimate winner and the Big Fundamental. Reports suggest that Tim is one of the best players in the NBA and is another player from the San Antonio Spurs with spectacular career statistics. Duncan has managed to score 20,641 career points, 11,335 rebounds, 1997 Rookie of the Year, 12 times All Star, 2000 All Star Game MVP, three times NBA Finals MVP, maintaining the record of never losing in the NBA Finals, Tim is the four time NBA champion and two time NBA MVP. Tim is one of a kind, as he is one the most successful yet low profile players, who is said by many experts to be the best power forward to have played in the NBA.
Allen Iverson will be remembered forever for the effort he made in revolutionizing the game. The great little man as called by some experts is immensely talented. Standing at about 6 feet Allen is without a doubt one of twenty five greatest players in the NBA. His career statistics that include his points scored, rebounds and the 2nd best average in the NBA playoffs is surely one of the reasons that this player is among the best in the league. Allen won the 1996 NBA Rookie of the Year, seven time All- NBA, three times steals champion, four times NBA scoring champion and 2001 NBA MVP. Though Allen has not been able to win a NBA, experts say that he is the best athlete in the NBA.
