Hedo Turkoglu supports Chris Bosh:
Hedo Turkoglu, former Toronto Raptors player, recently signed a contract with the Phoenix Suns. Hedo joined in the feud between Chris Bosh, Bryan Colangelo who is Raptors president, told the press that there is something definitely wrong with the organization, and nobody wants to join the Raptors. Turkoglu supported Bosh throughout and said that he did not quit during the playoffs this season.
"If he was feeling this way, why not have the guts to say it during the season? Why not say it to Chris? Now that Chris has left, it's not nice to say those things," said Hedo Turkoglu.
Chris Bosh backfires at his former team the Toronto Raptors:
Chris Bosh, the star of Toronto Raptors recently decided to join his friends Dwyane Wade and LeBron James in Miami Heat. The Toronto Raptors general manager and President Bryan Colangelo slammed Chris bosh by telling the press that he was a quitter and he did not want to play in the playoffs this year.
“Whether he was mentally checked out or just wasn't quite into it down the stretch, he wasn't the same guy. I think everybody saw that, but no one wanted to acknowledge it. He even went onto say that they tried putting several "different pieces" around Bosh, but it never worked "with him as that centrepiece,” said Bryan.
However, Chris released a statement saying it was the hardest decision he had to make in his life. When Bosh was questioned by the reporters, as to why he decided not to play in the playoffs, he said the team was in the playoffs and he certainly wanted to play and that is all he thought about throughout every summer.
"I play this game as hard as I can every time I step on the court. On the back of my jersey it says 'Bosh' ... The Boshes are hard workers. We have a lot of pride in what we do, in our jobs and in life."
Dennis Rodman survives a car crash:
On the other hand, NBA legend Dennis Rodman walked away unhurt from a car crash. Rodman’s SUV flipped over, according to the authorities due to a tire problem. The driver was taken to the hospital while Dennis came out of the car unscratched. Darren Prince, Rodman’s agent confirmed that the legend was unhurt to the press; he told the media Dennis was coming back from St. Tropez, where he had a disc-jockey gig and he was extremely happy to see him alright.
Rodman told Prince “I'm still living brother. They can't get rid of me,”
Tyreke Evans arrested due to over speeding:
Tyreke Evans, who plays as a guard for the Sacramento Kings was arrested due to reckless driving. Authorities told the press he was driving past 120 miles per hour on interstate 80 in his Mercedes and was allegedly racing another vehicle. Tyreke has been sentenced to 80 hours of community service; the court has also revoked his licence for 30 days and ordered him to part in a teen driving program.
Tyreke Evans said “apologies to fans, the Kings and my fam for bad decision making. Driving is a privilege & speeding was a mistake. I've def learned my lesson,” via a social networking site called Twitter.
Amar’e Stoudemire a Jew?
Amar’e Stoudemire another free agent who left his first team Phoenix Suns for the New York Knicks, recently went to Israel to discover his Jewish roots, which comes from his mother’s side. Stoudemire was confronted by the media and was asked whether he was Jewish? He told the reporters “through history, we all are”. Pictures of Stoudemires new tattoo “star of david” also surfaced the internet recently and he was seen wearing the yarmulke.
