LeBron James - The King has spoken:

Months of speculation, suspense, drama all created by one man “LeBron James”. The big question what city is he going to shoot baskets for? Will he be joining the New Jersey Nets? Because his friend rapper Jay-Z is a part owner of the franchise, with a Billionaire and owner of the Nets Mikhail Prokhorov backing him up. Will he be joining the New York Knicks? A team who has been trying to snare James since past two years? Will he be joining the Chicago Bulls filling in Michael Jordon’s shoes? Also the fact Chicago’s General Manger Gar Forman made the strongest bid or is he going to be loyal to home towns team Cleveland Cavaliers? Who drafted him 2003 as the Number 1 pick?

Questions upon questions arose every day from news reports, online bloggers could not stop writing about the startling player, thousands of new articles which featured James were being written every day, but yet nobody could seem to find out or answer the question where the King would plans on building his new empire.

Finally months of silence has been ended, LeBron James free-agency saga has ended. LeBron James has decided what team he’d be joining. The two-time MVP told ESPN he would like to do what would be best for him and for now the only thing that would be good for him is to join Miami Heat, which would give him a chance to play with his teammates from the Olympic team: Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

James has formed a power trio, which most were dreaming of ever since he became a free agent but not quite, James fans and former team are furious with his decision.  Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert released scornful letter saying it was a “cowardly betrayal” by James he has showed his true colours and his loyalty to the team he has been with for 7 years, and that he is certain that Cleveland will win a championship before Miami Heat would. Moreover he said that James is “a self-titled King”, his decision to join the Heat is something we should learn from and teach our kids the exact opposite lesson.

Paul also said that he would be taking a curse down with him to his next team “Just watch”.

James explained saying he left the $30M which he would have gotten if he had signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers on the table because he wants to win championships and that is something he would not have obtained if he stayed with the team. James said it was a tough decision for him leaving his hometown and he felt really awful doing that but he felt that there were greater challenges for him and it was time for him to move on; he said "I wanted to do what was best for LeBron James”.

In 2008 the King told the world, July 1 2010 would be a big day and it certainly was. Teams have been waiting for the day to come since past two years hoping and opening their salary caps so they could create room for the growing star, the 6foot 8 inch,260-pound freak of nature has almost been on every teams wish list since the free agency began. Franchises like the New York Nicks and New Jersey Nets have been begging and pleading for him to join their team since even before he become a free agent.

With James entering the Miami heat along with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade they have formed a three headed monster, which is going to devour everyone in the NBA soon. Miami Heat soon will be the most ruthless team in NBA history as they also have Derrick Rose to their roster and was the Number 1 draft - pick in 2008. James said, "D-Wade, he's the unselfish guy here, to be able to have Chris Bosh and LeBron James, to welcome us to his team, it's not about an individual here. It's about a team".

Since James has put an end to the never ending tale, now what everyone around the world is going to do is anxiously wait for is the next year’s playoffs and hopefully his trio will bring make the next playoffs more exhilarating than the last one.
