NBA- Paul Pierce, Tim Duncan and Derrick Rose might end careers at present teams
Here are three NBA players who would most probably be ending their Basketball careers in their present teams.
Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics)
Experts believe that Paul Pierce is one of those players who don’t have a career beyond the 36- year age barrier. This last offseason probably saw him step into his last season of the career at Boston Celtics. The last few seasons have proved to be very fruitful for this extravagant player as the Celtics have been able to win a championship and also reach a final. It requires a great deal of courage to do what Pierce did- to show pure loyalty, patience and determination towards his team right from the start. All his hopes seem to have been fulfilled and he has his share of success. With a little of his career remaining, experts say that he might just be able to pull off another NBA title for Celtics.
Tim Duncan (San Antonio Spurs)
Tim Duncan is another player who can’t be pictured anywhere else other than wearing a San Antonio Spurs’ uniform. He has been the center piece for Spurs for many years now as he has been able to win four championships for them in a decade he has spent there. However, there have been questions regarding his health in the past few seasons which have resulted in his productivity decline. Experts are of the view that all this is due to the age factor. Although, he now doesn’t seem to have the firepower he once had but still he is posting up good performances. He also still has the capability to push the Spurs into the playoffs. Keeping the above in mind, Spurs would surely want to keep this player on their roster as long as he is worth it.
Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls)
Derrick Rose is one of the unique players in NBA who possesses a combination of quickness, lots of athletic ability, good vision on court and loads of determination. According to experts, he should be added to the top 5 NBA players list. Being part of the Chicago Bulls, he likes to showcase his game on the home court in front of the home crowd. It is looking difficult for the Bulls to make it to the playoffs this season and while keeping this in mind, they would do absolutely anything to keep this player with themselves.
The player-team ties will further strengthen by the fact that other players like Carlos Boozer are being added to the squad which would be taken positively by Rose. At present, there doesn’t seem to be any reason for Rose to leave the Bulls and it looks as if he is there for the long haul.
