The game is going to take place at the Arco Arena, Sacramento, CA at 10:00 tonight. Although it’s the home ground of the Kings but it is high time that the Kings improve their defence and shooting in order to regain their Kingship. Otherwise the situation
that they are in right now is very sensitive and sooner or later they will have to be overthrown from their throne.
Pacers pacing up
The Indiana Pacers have come into the light as one of the most competitive teams in NBA this season. They continue to lead the season and are expecting further wins on their road trip. They are one of the top defensive teams of NBA.
The Pacers are looking forward to dish out more successes to improve to a 2-0 fourth game in the Western Conference trip in which they will come face to face with the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.
The Indiana Pacers have sealed their team’s worth finally by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night 95-92. This happened long after losing 11 regular game seasons against the Lakers. The previous victory came on 14 February 1999. Sunday night was
a big night for the Pacers as they clinched their third straight victory in four games. They had started this with a win over Miami Heats last Monday.
The Indiana Pacers (8-7) are a tough team and a challenge to face as they are progressing ahead. Now that they have beaten one of the biggest names of NBA, they can beat anyone and the Kings might need to review all their defence techniques and shooting.
They are “THE” team
Roy Hibbert scored a team high 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Yes, they were generous enough to let Kobe Bryant score his season high 41 points but did not let the Lakers take the lead.
Hibbert is dazzling with his average of 16.1 points and is maintaining a team best 9.6 boards. He is has a competitive edge over the rest of his team and is scaring his opponents all the way up till now.
"This is a big win for us to come into L.A. and beat the world champions on their home court," Forward Danny Granger who had 18 points said. "It gives us a lot of motivation and confidence on this West Coast road trip."
They are improving their defence dramatically. They confined the Lakers who had league’s best score to a shooting percentage of 38.6.
Indiana Pacers have emerged as one of the top three teams of the league with their field-goal percentage defence that is 42.8. They have been cruel in handling of their last six opponent teams and limited them to 39.5.
"The main thing about our basketball team is we're one of the top defensive teams in the league right now," said a confident Pacers coach Jim O'Brien later. "You've got to play top-five field goal defence in order to be able to win on the road,
and we've been able to do that."
Kings with their heads down
As for Sacramento Kings, they have not passed ahead 86 points in their last five games. The Kings were crowned with another defeat on Saturday as they could gather only 85 points and the Chicago Bulls outscored them with 96 points.
The Sacramento Kings have been faltering down into a low slump. They have been reduced to 4-11 and they have succeeded in completing an average of 10.3 points in their last four games.
The Pacers have an edge over the Kings but basketball is such a game that may change its direction in the very last moment of the game and reduce a winning team to a loss.
