NBA – Ranking the Iron Men of the game today (Part 1)
Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics
Paul Pierce is definitely one of the most talented and hard working players that the NBA world has come across. Last year, as the Boston Celtics were facing the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, Paul was carried off on a wheel chair after sustaining
an injury and looked to be down and out.
However, much to the delight of the fans with everybody applauding Paul Pierce returned to the centre stage and joined back into the action which gives him a spot in the iron man rankings in the NBA today. Paul Pierce is the reason that the Boston Celtics
challenge the crown even though they are said to be old. The amazing thing about Paul Pierce’s career is the fact that he has hardly missed a game in the past four NBA season excluding last year’s play-offs.
This means that Paul Pierce is playing around 100 games very where which is truly amazing!
Lamar Odom, Los Angeles Lakers
Lamar Odom wasn’t seen with much importance when he was with Los Angeles Clippers and the Miami Heat due to the fact that that he came across frequent injury problems. The problems continued for him when he joined the Los Angeles Lakers a few seasons ago.
However, now he is said to be the iron man of Los Angeles Lakers. Surprised? Why?? The reason is the fact that Lamar Odom has only missed three games in the past three seasons being part of the Los Angeles Lakers. Lamar Odom is one of the unique players
in the NBA who has the diversity in his game to play wherever asked to, whenever asked to and is never seen complaining. The fact that he never uses injury as an excuse has made him one of the ultimate players on the Lakers roster.
One of the underrated jewel in the NBA, Lamar Odom averages 15.6 points per game and decent 9.5 rebounds per games.
Steve Nash, Phoenix Suns
Steve Nash is one of the skillful and hard working players in the NBA today. Steve Nash is one of the few international men in the NBA who have become famous. The reason for this is the fact that he has worked hard day in and out and impressed the fans and
the coaches from all around the NBA.
Steve Nash is famous for his moves on pitch which enable him to squeeze past the defenders even if he finds a whiskers space between them. Steve Nash is one of the strong men in the NBA who has taken a lot of pain over the course of his 14 seasons in the
NBA. Though he his 34 years old now, it looks as if he is getting tougher and stronger by each passing game.
Steve Nash is putting in a lot of hard work missing only six games over the past six seasons in the NBA. Coupled with this is the fact that he has deadly shooting from any range and from anywhere which makes him even more dangerous and puts him in the list
of tough players in the NBA.
Rudy g*y, Memphis Grizzlies
One of the surprise comings to the list is Rudy g*y who has managed to crawl his way into the list due to the fact that he is one tough guy.
Though he is kind of stuck in no man’s land with the Memphis Grizzlies, his performances and durability has made him one of the important assets of the Memphis Grizzlies.  Rudy g*y has never missed more than four games in a single season (which was during
his rookie season).
Currently, he has missed two games in the season but don’t expect him to miss more games and Memphis Grizzlies close down the gap on the eighth and final play-off place in the Western Conference.
