NBA Recap: Celtics lead the Nets in a 100-75 victory Sunday night
It seems like the Boston Celtics are now back in their spirits. They reduced the New Jersey Nets by a total 25 points as they hit them hard with their victory and took a lead 100-75.
Arena stats
The game took place at the Prudential Center, Newark, NJ. New Jersey Nets could not however clinch a victory at their home ground. There were 16196 basketball fans who attended the game.

The lead changed four times and the game was tied once.
Inactive players
The inactive players among the Celtics were Jermaine O’Neal, Kendrick Perkins and Delonte West whereas Joe Smith, Ben Uzoh and Terrence Williams were inactive among the Nets.

Jordan Farmar scored 16 points, Anthony Morrow and Derrick Favors scored 10 and Johan Petro grabbed nine rebounds and had four points to add to the box score.
The team grabbed five rebounds.
Boston Celtics (16-4)
Nate Robinson scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds, Glen Davis scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds, whereas Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen both scored 13 points apiece for the Celtics.
The team grabbed 11 rebounds.

Boston Celtics had 49 rebounds whereas the New Jersey Nets had 36. The Celtics took eight offensive rebounds and the Nets had five. The Celtics gave away 13 turnovers and the Nets had 18.

The Celtics had the worst start as they were bombarded with bad news in the very beginning. The All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo entered before the final warm ups and broke the bad news that he won’t be playing the game because of foot injuries and hamstring.
Coach Doc Rivers expressed his displeasure at this last time walk out by saying, “I usually don't like that. It was really a last-second cancellation.”
Good move
Robinson proved to be an essential part of the game as he replaced Rondo and scored team high 21 points for the Celtics.
Nets feel helpless
The Nets were in a miserable condition as the only person who was in his spirits was Farmar who scored 16 points, grabbed four rebounds and gave two assists.

"Enjoy your Sunday afternoon." Paul Pierce said loud enough for everyone to hear him while leaving the arena that followed the 25 point win of the Celtics.

It was in the second quarter that the Celtics outscored the Nets by 30-12.

The game took a turning point when Damion James clinched in 27-25 in the first quarter as the Celtics took off at a 21-2 run.
Hot-Duo
Celtics’ Shrek that is Robinson and Donkey, Davis were like salt and pepper as they teamed up to hit 37 points and they grabbed 15 rebounds along with eight assists.
Weakest links
Brook Lopez was one of the weakest links as he could only score five points, gave six rebounds and took two assists.
HOT!
Garnett was on the seventh sky as he scored 13 points, 14 rebounds, gave four assists and was 5-8 from the floor.
Robinson excelled the first quarter as he scored eight of his first points in the very first four minutes of the game. It was his 3 pointer that he made with 7:48 remaining in the first quarter that enhanced the progress of the Celtics and gave them an 11-8
lead.
Rookies under microscope
Rookie Derrick Favors scored 10 points, grabbed two rebounds and gave four turnovers too, oops. James scored six points, went 2-10 from the field, gave three assists and grabbed four rebounds.
