NBA Recap: Milwaukee Bucks crush the Philadelphia 76ers 102-74

On Saturday night at the Bradley Centre, the Milwaukee Bucks pulled off a tremendous offensive performance as they overshadowed the Philadelphia 76ers, 102-74 to inch their way back into the playoff contention. The Bucks were led
by Andre Bogut’s game-high 17 points and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute double-double led Milwaukee for the third straight victory.
Mbah a Moute said after the game.
"Our defense has always been kind of stable. On the offensive end, we're moving the ball better; guys are shooting their shots with more confidence. We need to play that way for the rest of the season if we want to make the playoffs."
Mbah a Moute had an excellent night as he finished with 14 points, 12 rebounds and five steals.
Lou Williams scored a team-high 16 off the bench for 76ers; Eva Turner had 10 as no other player landed more than 10 points except Jodie Meeks’ 13 points.
Bucks were looking antagonistic at their home court, determined to excel in ranking to qualify for the upcoming showdown. They are currently standing at the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference with 26 victories, two
wins behind Indiana Pacers who holds the eighth spot.
Philadelphia coach Doug Collins said on Bucks Playoff run.
"Milwaukee is a very good team; that's a playoff team when they're healthy. That team tonight will make the playoffs."
The message from the Bucks was very clear right from the tip-off as Brandon Jennings started the proceedings with two blistering lands from downtown enroute to a 6-2 lead. Carlos Delfino carried the action to amplify the lead for
the Bucks. However, Jrue Holiday lifted the momentum for the visiting team and strived forward to cut down the deficit 17-15.  Both the teams showed great fight in the first quarter as Mbah a Moute four free throws helped Milwaukee to exact a one point advantage.
The home team went invincible in the second quarter with 9-0 run as they restricted the opposition to score in first three minutes of the period. Delfino and Mbah a Moute took the possession of the ball leaving few options for
the visiting team to gain any sort of momentum. Bucks enormous offensive assail before the halftime was also complemented by a shored-up defense as they restricted Philadelphia to 16 point. The home team grasped a massive 59-41 lead as the game progressed
into the second half.
Even Meeks and Andre Iguodala went downtown in the preliminary moments of the second half to lift the Sixers but they were restricted to 16 points once again as the Bucks refused to back down. Andrew Bogut keyed a monstrous assault
on the offensive end and spearheaded the Bucks to an 80-57 lead at the end the third quarter.
The monumental 23 points deficit proved to be a bit too much for the Philadelphia 76ers to overcome in the final quarter. The final buzzer after Andres Nocioni Free Throw resulted in a comprehensive win 102-74 for the home team.
