NBA Recap: New York Knick squeak out a 93-88 win over Miami Heat
Madison Square Garden (MSG) pictured another breathtaking action of Basketball today when Miami Heat and New York Knicks came together for their second meeting of the season.
Danilo Gallinari and Landry Fields successive 3-pointers in the final 1:18 became the defining moment of the game putting the ball in Knicks’s court for a crucial victory. Dwayne Wade’s game-high 34 points didn’t turnout enough
for his side taking Miami to the third place in the Eastern Conference with 14 defeats followed by Chicago Bulls. Knicks’s high scorer was Amare Stoudemire with 24 points giving New York a breakthrough as their seven-game losing streak against the Heat ended.
Every moment of the game was exhilarating for the spectators. The play progressed with a close battle right from the first period giving Miami only one point lead 24-23. During the first half, the action continued to excite with
only two points difference as Heat was still leading 48-46. Dwayne Wade took the third period in Miami’s favor 25-18 taking his squad to a 9 points lead until the game turned around suddenly with consecutive 3- pointers form Knicks in the fourth period. James
tried to pull out with his four straight points however New York Knicks managed to defend their victory leading the last quarter with 29-15. Knicks won this exciting match with 93-88 played at MSG making them avenge their last defeat at the same place against
heat.
Miami was playing without Chris Bosh due to his sprained ankle losing him for the fifth time in most six recent games. Wade, struggling with migraine had to wear goggles during the play which didn’t prevent him to perform. He scored
a game-high 34 points and 16 rebounds. LeBron James despondent shots in the match were pretty inauspicious for the Heat line-up giving advantage to the opponent for a win. James Performance was one of the major aspects of Miami’s lost as his contribution was
immensely anticipated.
