Most people who have written for this question have said that 'J-Rich is better' 'Look back at 03 and 04'. But in the end it doesn't just come up to two cool dunks, it comes down to showmanship. Vince Carter should win this tournament not only for his wide variety of dunks, but the way he leaves an impression on every one in the stadium after either a game or a slam dunk competition. I'm not that good with statistics and that may be a disadvantage for me, but my opinion is nevertheless of the same meaning even if i had an occasional fact or two.

Well, This would be tough game and these are 2 of the decent players that each of them is eligible to win because of his individual skills. But I think Vince is more likely to win it.

VC has a more experience of 3 years in NBA in comparison with J-Rich. Plus he has been a superstar highflyer for about a decade and you've seen him dunk somehow too much in regular games; and that's why he's been known a highflyer rather than a scorer or shooter.

But Jason can be classified in all-round players group. You know that in his games, he scores and shoot 3s and, also, dunks. And as far as I remember he's called a superstar scorer (or even 3-point shooter) more than a dunker.

Also in my opinion, Vince has an excellent potential to beat everyone in one on one slam dunk competitions with his skilled dunks, although J-Rich is a talented player at this aspect.

This is a real tough but Jason Richardson is the winner. Jason Richardson is a better two-footed dunker and is quicker at doing tricks in the Contest. Right now like if you are talking about the nxt year dunk contest still Jason would win. Vincanity is just getting to old while J-Rich is entering his prime(he was drafted 7 years ago). Jason Richardson's dunks are always intense and he's usually behind the rim due to his high verticle making his points better. Jason Richardson is highly considered as one of the best Dunkers of all time and is just better at dunking. in his Nets days Vince hasn't been dunking so much while suffering an injury. J-Rich is the better man because he is entering his prime and has more energy than Vince. 2 of Jason Richardson' dunks recieved the most fan votes

VC mwy have like 3 years more in the NBA but like how old is he??? like 31. this season got injured in his knee which would make him unable to dunk very well. he is getting old whild J-Rich is just entering his prime.

J.Rich would win. The guy misses look good. He lost because he tried a very difficult dunk which he could have won with a regular dunk. The guy did a 360, stuck his arm in the rim.

He would win because hes very quick in the air with spins and pumps. which allows him to move more and do more tricks in the air.
