Continuing our list of best point guards in the NBA, a position that not only requires basketball IQ but also the diversity of the game, to be regarded as not only the best in position playing but also best in the business.
However, coming back to the list the 5th position in the list is taken by a player who had 14 years of professional career, Bob Cousy. During the 14 year career, Bob played for the Boston Celtics and the Cincinnati Royals during which he was able to win an impressive 6 championship titles. The highlights of his career were the 13 Time All-Star, 12-Time NBA Team selection, one MVP award and the championship titles helping his cause to be inducted in the Hall of Fame. This extravagant player managed to come up with 18.4 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game and 7.5 assists per game. This player was a few of the African-American players that played for an NBA team due to his phenomenal shooting capabilities. This talented player had the most number of titles for any point guard in NBA history that further cemented his place as the best in the business. Reports show experts saying that Bob was one of the greatest all round players in the history of basketball which dated back to 64 years.   
The sixth spot is occupied by another Lakers point guard, Jerry West who bagged 15 years of professional career. Jerry was a Lakers player throughout his career and managed 14 Time-All Star, 12 Time All Star NBA Selection, three times Defensive Team Selection and an NBA Finals MVP award. Experts raise the question of him being the best point guard or shooting guard after you have a look at his points per game that is of 27.0! With 5.8 rebounds per game and 6.7 assists per game managed to win one championship ring. This extravagant player played in both positions during career according to experts and the talent that he possessed enabled him to be the best, while playing in both positions. Having one of the best IQs of basketball and the ability to carry the ball, Jerry had his playoff dreams always hurt by bad luck. However, none the less, Jerry is one of the best players with the diversity in his game to put him above the others and this was one of the reasons for him being inducted in the Hall of Fame. 
Jason Kidd, as one of the active NBA players who has with his talent and skill has managed to be regarded as one of the best in the business today. The excusive player currently playing at for the Dallas Mavericks was also a part of the Phoenix Suns and New Jersey Nets. This extremely talented player has been able to become 10 times All-Star, six times All-Time NBA Selection and Nine Time All-Defensive Team selection. Although this player has not managed to come up with any championship titles to his name but has some of the best statistics currently with 13.6 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game and 9.2 assists per game. According to experts look into his past and regard him as one the best point guards in the history, who could literally do anything on the court with the abilities that he possessed.
However, one problem that has led to him not being in the list at 2 or potential 3rd spot is the fact that his shooting let him down. Possessing the skill and dribble required to be one of the best, Kidd doesn’t have the final touch. This is one reason that according to reports might hinder his way into the Hall of Fame. However, experts say it’s not his fault too as he always had below average team mates that along with his below average shooting led him to glory but only till the playoffs.
