The NBA has seen great players being a part of the franchise and then eventually retiring. What some managed to do was become greats and win titles and huge amount of awards like Michael Jordan and Bill Russell. Vince Carter is another player who has had an outstanding NBA career and is likely to be inducted in the Hall of Fame. Having career statistics of 22.9 points per game, 5.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists respectively has an impressive long shooting range coupled with the fact that he is one of the best dunkers that the NBA has seen for quite some time. Despite the diversity in his game, Vince hasn’t been able to win a title. One of the reasons for him not winning according to the experts is the fact that this talented player has never been part of any potential championship winning team.
Another future Hall of Famer who is flooded with loads of talent and is among the best, Allen Iverson also is a part of this list. This extravagant player has career statistics during which he managed to score 26.7 points per game with 3.7 rebounds and 6.2 assists. The fabulous player played like the most valued player in the NBA during his early career with the 76ers. However, Allen’s performances seemed to have abated considering the fact that this superstar has no team to play for now and according to some might retire soon rather than later. Steve Nash, of the Phoenix Suns comes in next. Nash is one of the best shooters currently in the NBA and maybe the best in the history of the NBA, playing as point guard and mastering that too. This player is truly an amazing player. Despite the fact that he has pin point shooting abilities, he tries not to be selfish and passes the ball to other players, which is why he has an average of 14.6 points per game. Other statistics of his career include 3.0 rebounds per game and 8.3 assists per game. Mentioning all of the above, you might agree with the experts who say that he is one deserving player worthy of a championship. This talented player has not been able to manage a title once for now but has had his share of glory by winning two MVP awards. However, this skilful and unselfish player has been a part of many good teams but those teams haven’t been ones who could be regarded as the best. All these teams had an outside chance and unfortunately, they didn’t win during the time he was with them.
