Previously mentioning some big names, this article also has some of the most talented and skilful players. Most notable is LeBron James who is climbing his way up by every passing game and cements his place further as a future Hall of Famer.
Kevin Garnett has earned the title of the ultimate warrior through his hard work and talent. Experts say that his passion for the game is a lot and this is the reason that he is one of the best power forwards in the history of the NBA. Kevin is another player who with his skilful play has managed to come up with many achievements. This extravagant player’s statistics include 22,267 points scored by him, 12,188 career rebounds, 2003 MVP in the All Star Game, 10 times All NBA Defensive Team, 2008 Defensive Player of the Year, 2004 NBA MVP and 2008 NBA champion. Being one of the best power forwards of the NBA, Kevin is responsible for revolutionizing the power forward position.
LeBron James is one of the most accomplished players in the NBA today according to experts. With only seven seasons in the NBA, his statistics are looking to go on heights where no one has reached before. This talented player has already managed to bag 15,251 points, 3,810 assists with 3,861 rebounds. In the seven year career, James has managed to win the Rookie of the Year in 2003-04, two times NBA All Star Game MVP, 2008 scoring champion and managed to come up with two NBA MVP awards. With only seven seasons in the NBA, LeBron has managed to climb his way to the top 30 players in the list of greatest players in the NBA history. Even if this player plays seven more seasons and you double his statistics they mount up to huge numbers. In addition, who knows he might be able to name five NBA titles and five MVP awards to his name. Now as a part of the Miami team, if things go as expected by the experts, then LeBron is on course for becoming one of the greatest in the NBA.
Steve Nash is a player who is one of the most talented and skilful players in the NBA, who has cemented his place as one the five greatest point guards of all time. However, his career statistics and achievements are not like those mentioned above but still this extravagant player has a place in the Hall of Fame. Nash has managed to become seven time NBA All-Star, four time assists champion and managed to bag back to back NBA MVP awards.
Jason Kidd is another great player in the NBA and cements his place in the list for the all time greatest top five point guards too along with Steve Nash. With the career statistics of 10,923 points, 7,853 rebounds, 10 All-Star selections, 10 All-NBA selections and 1995 Rookie of the award. These statistics may not seem extraordinary but keeping in mind the fact that he is point guard, Jason is surely another player heading into the Hall of Fame.
The German, Dirk Nowtizki is another player who changed the power forward positions just like Kevin Garnett. Dirk is one of the underrated players in the NBA with his amazing career always forgotten. Although Dirk is a player who is in the list of players of the experts, who are expected never win a NBA title but still he has crawled his way into the Hall of Fame already according to some. Dirk has managed to score 21,111 points and managed to come with 2007 NBA MVP award, which make him the all time best shooting man.
Some of these players on the verge of end of their career but the determination and desire to play is so much that they look like being the players that they were in the early years of their career. This is the reason that they have carved their way into the history books several times and are looking to end it with their names in the Hall of Fame as a final glory.
