NBA Special Report: Questions about upcoming NBA Season (Part 2)
Moving on with the questions that the NBA world will be facing this upcoming season, we have one of the important questions in the article.
Can LeBron James average a triple double?
While many say that, LeBron James took the wrong decision if he wanted to boost individual statistics by moving to Miami Heat, others disagree. Analysts say that this player is without a doubt one of the greatest players in the history of the franchise.
In addition, they add to this by saying that LeBron can very well become the first player to average a triple during the course of the upcoming season since time of Oscar Robertson.
If we talk about expert opinions then out of the 93 experts who were put forward this question gave their answers which saw 72 percent disagree to the fact. Adding to this they say that he wouldn’t be able to average a triple double over the course of the
next six seasons. However, if we look at the 28 percent who agreed to the fact that he can average a triple double it still is a big achievement. What no player has managed to do over the past 30 years, there is a 28% chance that this player can do it with
the talents that he has.
Experts say that with Dwayne Wade in the Heat squad, LeBron is sure to increase when it comes to the department of assisting. And if the talk about rebounding statistics, then the Heat have no standout centre like Dwight Howard which would mean that his
number would also increase when it comes to rebounding. LeBron is already in contention for the MVP award this upcoming season. If he manages to average a double, he can surely win the MVP award for the third straight time with relative ease.
Another one of the important questions in the upcoming NBA season is that how many games would the Miami Heat win during the course of the regular season?
Since the time the Heat came up with the signing of the two big names in the NBA LeBron James and Chris Bosh, speculations started to flood in regarding the fact as to how many games they would win. Adding Dwayne Wade resulted in critics saying that this
would be one of the best trios that the NBA world has witnessed. Speculations that the Heat would win no less than 60 games this season flooded from all around.
But this was before the Miami Heat added Mike Miller, Zydrunas Ilgauskas to the squad to form one of the most diverse and talented squads in the history of NBA. Some analysts say that this team can without a doubt make it to the playoffs with relative ease
and break the Chicago Bulls record of 1995-96 season of the best regular season. They are expected to excel a lot due to the players that they have who are masters in their respective department. Not only this, they also help others in playing their role which
makes them even more important for the team’s success. Reports suggest that this formidable squad will be ending the regular season with a record of 72-10.
Scott Pippen is one of the legends of the NBA and also the Chicago Bulls who was part of the 1995-96 Bulls team also comments on this matter. This extremely talented and achieved player during his time says that he does not totally disagree with the fact
of Heat tasting a lot of success but he has reservations over the fact that they can win 72 games. The legendary player says that though the Heat has one of the strongest cores in the NBA with Bosh and Wade, but still this would be too early to expect this
much from them. They would need some time to understand each other and know each other’s strengths and weaknesses and this all will happen over the course of two or three seasons. Now let’s wait and watch whether the chemistry they form results in success
immediately or take some time.
