NBA Special Report- Some of the intense players (Part 1)
There are all sorts of players in the NBA, the difference being color, size or personality but the thing that actually separates them from each other is their skill and talent. All of the players are identified on the basis of their unique skill and talent but there is one very important thing that according to experts is usually not looked into while rating a player. It is the level of intensity in his game. Past records and statistics show that there is a strong relation between success and intense play. Here, we will be discussing some of the most intense players currently playing in the NBA.
Steve Nash makes it into the list although one would argue that he is not the kind of player who would get into the other player’s face, play a tight defense or bone crunching tackles but the determination and willingness this player shows after getting back up each time he falls is marvelous and literally plays his heart out. Experts say that despite being in his 30’s the level of game he shows reminds them of young and fired up players. The phenomenal player’s ability to handle the ball in a crowded region is what puts him above the others. The commitment that he shows can be seen from the fact that Nash didn’t show any signs of pain after he broke his nose on the court but instead carried to play on.
Before viewing this list, one would have expected Ron Artest to be amongst the top but what makes him low is the fact that although he is one of the intense players in the NBA but at times, he seems to loosen his self control and come up with somewhat “stupid” things. The last season showed a decrease in his level of intensity. Nevertheless, Artest is one of the best players when it comes to the defense, keeping in mind the fact that he has fantastic defensive abilities both physically and mentally that put him among the top class players in the NBA.
It may come as a surprise but Krik Hinrich is another player on the list. He is the one who is underrated a great deal no matter if it is in the defense or on the offense. This player doesn’t back down from any challenge and no matter who is ahead of him, he goes into the battle without thinking of anything. One quality that puts him among the greats of the league is the fact that Hinrich not only provides intense play throughout the game but he also keeps himself calm.
Dwayne Wade, known for his intense play during college career, is yet another player on the list. Experts say that this player has learned a lot along his way to the NBA but the one thing he still keeps from his college life to the Heat is the intensity factor. After making his way into the NBA, this fabulous player is known for his durability on the court as he stands up even after the ugliest of tackles. The style of play he has adopted is such that it demands high intense action so as to keep the defense on high alert. Experts further add that it was not only his splendid style of play but also the level of intensity in his game that enabled Miami Heat to win the 2006 NBA championship.
