The Portland trail Blazers won their fourth straight game, beating the Phoenix Suns on their home turf in the presence of 17,284 dejected fans.
Big Names of the Game
Brandon Roy played one of his best games in Portland’s Uniform; posting a game-high 26 points and LaMarcus Aldridge followed him with 23 in the Portland’s victory. Marcus Camby joined hands with them with 16 points and 18 rebounds.
Steve Nash did all he could and scored team-high 24 points in the defeat. Grant Hill added 17 and Hakim Warrick posted 14 for the Suns, who matched a season worst with their third straight loss.
Game Picture
The Phoenix Suns shot a combined 59% in the first quarter led by six points from Hill. However, Portland managed to tackle the situation, hitting 23 of 36 shots in the first half to lead 61-53.
Portland had four players in double figures in the first 24 minutes of the game, led by Roy, who had 12 in the first half.

Brandon Roy opened the second half of the game by scoring seven straight and the Blazers extended the lead to 14 in the first 4 minutes.
Portland maintained the lead well into the final quarter before tiring, pulling out a bewildering win despite shooting 4 off 18 in the final period.
Roy admitted that they were tired during the final moments of the game "We were just tired, everybody had heavy legs, we were just happy we built that lead so that we were able to hold them off."
Portland - Out of luck
Although Phoenix limited the Blazers to 4 for 18 shooting in the fourth quarter, the Suns' own offensive was not up to the mark as it stopped from not getting any closer than 6 points.
