President meets the LA Lakers next week
It has been an encouraging effort on the part of US Presidents that they motivate and support their sportsmen. This can clearly be seen with the eagerly awaited Barack Obama/Los Angeles Lakers face off.
Anonymous sources confided that the basketball loving President of the US will meet the Los Angeles Lakers next week. It will be indeed a sight to see the expensive bespoke suit-clad President change into an LAL uniform, dribbling
the ball around the court and being applauded if he nets the ball (this is a completely fantasized version of the President, the President may show up in something else). It happens rarely, to watch to a game that includes the President of the United
States playing at ease with the players of one of the largest basketball leagues in the world. The LA Lakers and President sure share chemistry.
The Los Angeles Lakers enjoy being the 16th NBA Champions and won the title in June, 2010 when they defeated the Boston Celtics.
Obama seems to be a great admirer of the game. He also held game at the White House, gathering former and current superstars of the NBA. Bryant, Pau Gasol and Derek Fisher were some of the lucky contenders who dunked in to make
points at a place where the most influential people in the history of America have lived.
The basketball loving President had to get his lower lip stitched when a player elbowed him in a matchup a few weeks ago.
The Lakers and the President this time will have a rendezvous in a community service event in the D.C area instead of the White House. May the best team win!
