  1. Your idea seems fair.

Chicago - (+) Lamar Odom, Joel Przybilla (-) Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas, Thabo Sefolosha, Aaron Gray

Pros: Dumping Hinrich's contract. Getting a versatile forward in Lamar Odom. Getting a solid center.

Cons: Trading Kirk Hinrich, Aaron Gray, Sefolosha and Tyrus Thomas to get Lamar Odom and Joel Przybilla?

Portland - (+) Gray, Hinrich, Sefolosha (-) Frye, Przybilla

    Pros: Dumping Joel Przybilla's contract.

Cons: Acquiring Hinrich's contract. Why would Portland want to get Hinrich and Sefolosha? Aren't they stacked with guards?

Houston - (+) Thomas, Frye (-) Shane Battier

Pros: Acquiring two young forwards with expiring contract.

    Cons: Trading away Shane Battier.

    Lakers - (+) Battier (-) Odom

Pros: Acquiring defensive stopper Shane Battier.

    Cons: His three year contract.

Clearly, Rockets wins these trades. Lakers acquisition is good since they want to trade Odom and Battier's contract is not bad. He is worth it. Chicago's acquisitions are fair the only problem is how would they address their problem in the guard spot? Trading away capable/off the bench guard Sefolosha. Portland loses this out because why would they want to pile up guards after acquiring Jerryd Bayless? Getting guards at the expense of their bigs? I don't think so.

  2. you dont get it do you??? the NBA is about stars and teams dont give a $h!t about role players anymore... its whats eventually going to kill  the NBA.  The Nba is about getting household names while baseball and football are about developing young role players into solid starters... i was going to say hockey but Nba fans are too ingnorant to see out of their little world and realize that the ncaa is a more competitive league with more excitement

  3. Bad trade!... Rockets only give up Battier for 2 young potential superstars!....

And Hinrich on the Blazers?!.... MAn!... He would SUCK!!!

  4. I kinda like the trade, but Portland has a bunch of guards.I personally like to see Hinrich in Houston. That would be great b/c Hinrich is a pass 1st PG and the Rockets have a lot of talent at their disposal.

Maybe Battier and a pick for Hinrich.

  5. h**l NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why would bulls trade tyrus thomas, he is starting to develop!!!! plus lakers will never trade odom for battiier. if lakers wont trade odom for artest why would they trade odom for battier!

  6. Portland: They already have Roy and Bayless on the backcourt.

Lakers: Yeah they do need Battier as a defender but Odom moving to SF would really benefit him.

Rockets: Shane will be a spark they need off the bench. Also, Artest can play Pf occasionally. The Rockets have Chuck Hayes as a reserve.

Bulls: Odom's soft as a PF as proved by the 2008 NBA Finals.
