NBA Tuesday Roundup - (Part 1)
Twelve NBA teams went head-to-head on Tuesday, 15 February, 2011. The Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunders, Phoenix Suns, and Golden State Warriors came out on top in their matches.

Miami Heat 110 – Indiana Pacers 103
Dwyane Wade put in a brilliant performance with a game-high 41 points and 12 rebounds, as the Miami Heat eased past the Indiana Pacers 110-103 at Conseco Field House on Tuesday night.
LeBron James supported Wade well with 27 points, while Chris Bosh registered 22 points for the Heat, who have won nine of their last 10 games.
Roy Hibbert played well as he scored a team-high 18 points, while Tyler Hansbrough added 16 for the Pacers, who won have won seven of their last nine games under interim coach Frank Vogel; both losses have come against Miami.
Paul George and Danny Granger scored 14 points apiece for Indiana, who lost their 29thgame of the season.
Wade was confident in his shots and fundamentally solid on defence as he scored 22 of his 41 points in the opening quarter. It didn’t take long for the Heat to take a huge 41-19 lead into the second.
The Pacers came out strongly in the second quarter as they recovered from their mistakes by turning up their defensive intensity and continuing their balanced scoring attack. Indiana managed to trim the 22-point first quarter deficit to just four points
(54-58) at half time.
The Pacers extended their sizzling defensive play to the third quarter as they answered with a 6-0 run halfway through the third to tie the game at 64-64. Both teams then played at a crisp pace but Indiana slowly built up an 83-82 lead, heading into the
final stanza.
The game was tied at 91-91 with six and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter. However, Chris Bosh scored 19 of the game's final 31 points to secure the victory.
Chicago Bulls 106 – Charlotte Bobcats 94
Luol Deng scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed four rebounds, as the Chicago Bulls thrashed the Charlotte Bobcats 106-94, at the United Centre on Tuesday night.
Derrick Rose did a good job of staying active as he had a double-double with 18 points and 13 assists for the Pacers, who have won nine of their last 11 contests. Carlos Boozer added 16 points and nine rebounds, while Kyle Korver finished with 15 points
for the Bulls, who have won 14 of their last 15 home games.
Gerald Henderson added a team-high 22 points for the Bobcats while Stephen Jackson chipped in with 20 in the defeat. Boris Diaw added 18 points and Shaun Livingston came off the bench with 13 points for Charlotte, who lost their 32nd game of the
2010-11 season.
Charlotte and Chicago had a steady start to the opening quarter however, the Bulls managed to make it to the free throw line early, to build a quick 29-23 lead going into the second.
Chicago got it going defensively in the second quarter as they went on a 6-2 run to make it 35-25 in the 10th minute. However, the Bobcats managed to cut the deficit to 35-38 with six minutes remaining in the quarter. The Bulls once again found
a way to take a 52-45 advantage at half time.
Chicago continued to extend their lead in the third quarter before the Bobcats fought hard to make the score a respectable one. The Bobcats scored seven straight late in the quarter to pull within 76-73 but the Bulls were still ahead by 78-73 after three
quarters.
Chicago scored eight points in a row early in the fourth quarter, stretching a five-point lead to 13 points at 88-75. The Bobcats never threatened again.
