NBA Update: Beasley turns out AWESOME as he scores his career high 42 points against the Kings

Michael Beasley gave an outstanding performance as he scored 42 points while playing against the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night at Arco Arena. He gave this thrilling performance in front of 12443 spectators who experienced this brilliantly played game
for 2:28. The Minnesota Timberwolves took the lead of the game against the Sacramento Kings 98-89.
The career high 42 points that Beasley scored proved to be very lucky for the Minnesota Timberwolves as it got them their very first victory of the season. Luck had been very hard on the Timberwolves as they had been losing 17 consecutive road games. The
last game that they won was in Miami on Feb 23, 2010.
The game between Wolves and Kings was tied nine times and the lead changed five times. Omri Casspi from the Sacramento Kings committed the only technical foul in the whole game.
The game did not start very well for the Timberwolves. Beasley didn’t start off very brilliantly as he missed the first shot and to add to the grief he turned it over too. All this happened in the first two minutes of the game. Everything started shining
bright and all the gloom faded away after 9:18 in the first half. His career night leaped ahead and made the others wonder what has happened to him? As Beasley turned into action the Sacramento Kings tried to grab him and drag him back but all their efforts
were fruitless.
Beasley was all smiles as he said, “I looked up and was like, 'Wow.' It just felt like we were flowing right, like the game was flowing in our direction.”
While Beasley made his career high score, there were still some players who didn’t even score a single point. These inactive players were Jonny Flynn, Luke Ridnour and Martell Webster from the Minnesota Tiemberwolves. Pooh Jeter and Hassan Whiteside were
inactive from the Sacramento Kings.
The players who made the game for the Timberwolves besides Beasley were Sebastian Telfair and Wesley Johnson who scored 16 and 12 points respectively.
Omri Casspi scored 17 points, Beno Udrih added 16 and Samuel Dalembert had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Sacramento Kings. Despite their efforts, this was the third straight game that the Kings lost this season 3-1.
Kevin Love remained scoreless throughout the three quarters of the game. Just a night before he had made his career high 24 rebounds and scored 23 points and five remarkable assists. Later he played well in the fourth quarter and battled to score eight points
and nine rebounds.
During his 27 minutes of play, Tyreke Evans could score five points only and that was the lowest score he made this season. He turned the ball over five times and let his nine assists go in vain. He fouled when only 9:02 were left in the fourth quarter.
With 4:59 remaining and the ball in Love’s hands, he leaped and took a free throw that scored the Wolves another six points who were already at the lead 85-82. He made another basket and added another free throw for the Wolves who took another lead 91-82
at 3:51 mark.
A disappointed and disappointing Tyreke Evans later highlighted the reason of their loss when he said, “Everybody is thinking too much. We're trying to do everything on our own instead of playing as a team. That's the reason why we're
backing down.”
Luke Ridnour from the Timberwolves could not make it to even this game; he has already missed the one before because of a strained left hamstring.
Coming Up: The Timberwolves will be playing against New York on Friday, Atlanta on Sunday, and Charlotte on Monday. The Sacramento Kings will be playing against Phoenix on Friday, Detroit on Sunday and New York on Wednesday.
