NBA Update: Charlotte Bobcats has won the very first game under a new interim coach- Paul Silas
The game was absolutely in the favour of the Charlotte Bobcats side during the first half and it didn’t seem that players appeared with coach like Paul Silas who has been directing a first team after a five years gap. Michael Jordan was replaced by Larry
Brown and electing Paul Silas as temporary coach for his team has proven true in the very first game. The entire team was motivated and excited to play with new combinations whereas bench warmers added plus for the side.

After the retirement of Larry Brown, the Charlotte Bobcats played much better on Monday night and won a game against Detroit Pistons with 105-100 under the direction of Paul Silas. In fact, the Bobcats players have many flaws but in the recent game Silas did
enough to prove that the side has wining potentials with an interim coach. D.J. Augustin and Stephen Jackson were the key players who added 27 and 23 points in the total of 105 score that led to Bobcats’ victory.

At the end of the match while speaking to the media, Silas said that he thinks it was a fine start, as he hadn’t been a coach since expiring from Cleveland in 2005. He was excited that he pulled that label out because in converse situation it would have problem,
he added. Silas said he realizes that the team will take some time but he liked the way his team performed tonight and he is hopeful that the continuing such efforts will help the Bobcats to demonstrate more than what we can think about the side.

During the final moments of the game, Ben Gordon lost two tying three point attempts just before Thomas' two free throws with one second remaining permitted Charlotte to carry on in spite of 24 turnovers; Jackson scored nine of them.

Charlie Villanueva was the prominent scorer form the Detroit Pistons with 25 points. Despite of commenting on his team players’ performance Villanueva said that the game of basketball is in fact a game of adjustments. If the situation is not getting right then
you just need to make some new adjustments, as it was needed in the second quarter, he added. You can never carry on game with the similar arrangement that’s out there.

Pistons coach John Kuester said that he considered the energy of the second group that was introduced in the second half was great. He thought the players did a great job of bringing us back in the game.

Augustin who was being regularly targeted by Brown’s anger scores 10 of 15 shots and couldn’t place a turnover. Augustin said that our new coach, Silas is a good motivator as he boosted our moral and made the entire team relaxed. Our players were not conscious,
how well they would be in their first game under Silas. We played to the best of our abilities for Silas and for our fans.

Silas is a retired American basketball player who had played for 16 years and made him distinguished by scoring above 10 thousand points and 10 thousand rebounds in his career. A 67 year old Paul Silas served Charlotte Hornets and gained great popularity also
because he achieved a mark of being the most winning coach in NBA History. Now on December 22, Silas replaced the coach Brown and stated after joining the Bobcats as an interim coach that it would be his dream job.

First match victory of the Bobcats team under the supervision of new coach Paul Silas has made the judgment valid for the team. The Bobcats needed change in terms of a new coach, which it got, accepted and delivered in the very first match. Paul Silas just
before the game started said that whenever you are being beaten by 30 points then it simply shows something wrong with the team. Jackson said change is quite evident and how the players are supporting each other in the court is what we needed right from the
beginning of the season.
