The Chicago Bulls played host to the Oklahoma City Thunder this Monday at the United Centre. The match was attended by 21,000 fans. The match lasted for 2 hours and 26 minutes. During the course of the match lead changed hands 3 times while the scores were
tied for 10 times during the play.
The Chicago Bulls made a good start to the match with Carlos Boozer scoring early on. The home team saw Boozer on the scoring sheet every now and then. However, the Oklahoma City Thunder was in touch with the Bulls and they bagged points from all around.
Both teams were evenly matched during the course of the first quarter. The defence and the offence were good and there were some productive pieces of play from both the sides. For the Oklahoma City Thunder, it was Kevin Durant who took on the opposing defence.

The Chicago Bulls restricted the Oklahoma City Thunder to 18 points during the quarter while they scored 29 points. The quarter saw Westbrook score 13 points for Thunder while his team-mate Harden took his personal tally to 10 points. The quarter ended with
the Chicago Bulls leading the scores 82-66 with Derrick Rose coming up with a splendid three pointer right at the end taking his score to 11 points.
Though the final quarter saw the Oklahoma City Thunder maintain a tight defence that allowed only 17 points while the Thunders bagged 24 points but it wasn’t enough.
Durant was the main scorer for the Thunders during the quarter as he took his score to 29 points. While Carlos Boozer was the main offence weapon for the Chicago Bulls who also managed to score 29 points during the course of the match.
Durant and Boozer were the top scorers of the match with 29 points while 2 players from the Chicago Bulls scored 12 points and Derrick Rose scored 9 points as the Chicago Bulls won the match 99-90.
