Fourth Quarter
The Warriors had a lack of team spirit and were lacking the offensive streak they were in dire need of. The Hornets set a 20-point run after Thornton pulled up a jump shot, clinching 97-77 against the rival team. Another shot gave them a 22-point lead over
the same. Law regained his composure after missing a 3-pointer and materialized a layup shot to take the deficit to 20 points again, 79-99.
Willie Green shot a three pointer that was assisted by David Andersen to cross 100, leaving the opposition at a score of 79. The Warriors had to do something or else they would not be able to face their fans again, so Eddy Curry clinched a three-pointer
assisted by Dorell Wright, going 84-104. (Warriors) Ekpe Udoh committed a shooting foul that happened to bring out a free throw for the Hornets, 105-84. Lee’s running jump shot fuelled the scores a little because it was followed by two consecutive shots from
Udoh and Wright. This disposition took the scores, 90-105. Another running bank shot tossed by Wright took the Warriors 92-107, nearing the leading team.
GSW took on a new resolve hitting all the free throws that came their way and rounded up the scores to go 98-109 with just a minute and 42 seconds left in game. West rebound the ball for his team and Okafor pulled out a running jump shot, Warriors would
not let go and they fought till the end. New Orleans Hornets however, took a 112-103 lead over Golden State Warriors.
