NBA Update: New York Knicks thrash Charlotte Bobcats
The Madison Square Garden blossomed under the effect the Knicks had over the Bobcats, as the Knicks surpassed the min their fourth straight win. The 19,763 spectators were awed at the game they experienced and the thrill they felt. The game lasted for duration of 2:20 and was equalized twice.
Player Stats
Toney Douglas scored 22 points, Amare Stoudemire scored 17 and Felton contributed 16 points and nine assists to the Knicks scoreboard. D.J. Augustin, who is replacement for Felton, scored 24 points. Gerald Wallace added 20 and Jackson hit in 18 to add to the Bobcats score. The Bobcats were giving their best offensive performance by shooting 57.5 percent over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, 123-105. However the Bobcats did not show up with the same defense in this game and were easily downed by the Knicks.  
Play-by-Play
1st Quarter
The Knicks were shooting-in 55 percent and were leading the Bobcats by 14 points, in the first half. They brought a 60-49 lead, into the break, with their great shooting. Douglas added 13 points off the bench. Brown made a foul and Wilson Chandler made three points with a free throw.
2nd Quarter
New York missed many shots during the 2nd quarter. Felton made a technical free throw to break the wall. Chandler made another two points with 35 seconds to go and then he missed a three pointer by the end of the second quarter.
3rd Quarter
Ronny Turiaf made a basket in the third quarter that made them lead the Bobcats by 16. He has been a major catalyst in regaining the composure of the Knicks since his return after the knee injury.
4th Quarter
By the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Knicks were 89-75. Shaun Livingston made a basket and a three point play, which led the Bobcats 9-0, to begin the fourth quarter with. Wallace had a basket and with that, the Bobcats stretched the lead to 91-89. Landry Fields, who plays rookie for the Knicks, clicked a three pointer after 14 seconds following Augustin’s jumper. After that, he slammed down a follow dunk, on fast break and extended the lead to 98-91.Jackson downed nine with 5 minutes to play. He made two 3-pointers and slammed a dunk that cut it to 104-101 with only 2 minutes remaining. After that the Knicks came into rage, as Felton emerged with a final pair of free throws, comprehensively beating their opponents.

Referring to Felton, who once played for the Bobcats, Brown said,
"He's great. I think what he brought to our team is something you can't replace. He plays hard every day, plays hurt practices hard, he's a great teammate and I'm thrilled for him. I think it's worked out good for everybody. D.J.'s gotten an opportunity and he's played well."
