NBA Updates – Oklahoma City Thunder win 114-93 against the New Jersey Nets
Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the New Jersey Nets this Wednesday at the Oklahoma City Thunder Arena. The match was played in front of 18,200 fans. The match lasted for 2 hours and 15 minutes with the lead changing hands 4 times and the score was tied 3 times
during the course of the match.
Oklahoma City Thunder scored the first points of the match and continued to attack. Oklahoma’s defence was strong at the start but in the middle part of the quarter there was a drought of points.
Both teams managed to come up with a decent effort as the quarter ended with each team scoring 24 points. Though the Oklahoma City Thunder was expected to dominate the game, the New Jersey Nets was able to neutralize this by attacking as well.
The 2nd quarter was the time when Oklahoma City Thunder created difference between them and the away side. Coupled with this was the fact that Oklahoma City Thunder maintained a very tight defence. The offence was also very strong for the Oklahoma
City Thunder.
During the course of the quarter, Oklahoma City Thunder scored 33 points while New Jersey Nets 22 points. The score at the end of the quarter was 57-46 in favour of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The 3rd quarter was also a reflection of the 2nd quarter. New Jersey Nets defence had absolutely no answer to the strong offence of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

while the New Jersey Nets scored 24 points.
The final quarter of the match saw very few points being scored in the 11 minutes of play. The defence was very strong for both the teams. The defence for Oklahoma was very strong but their offence relaxed as they led by 18 points at the start of the final
quarter.
During the final quarter, New Jersey Nets scored 23 points while the Oklahoma City Thunder scored 26 points as Oklahoma won the match 114-93. Kevin Durant was the top scorer of the match with 27 points.
