NBA- Yao Ming and Dwight Howard to end careers as team veterans
Basketball players often end up playing for different teams during their careers due to several reasons. Some change a team in order to end their ongoing clashes there while some leave due to their desire to be part of a team that is title contender.
But, then there are those players also who seem to remain wholeheartedly faithful to a single team during their whole careers. Experts say that every such player has a different reason for doing so.
The most surely inclusion in the list of such players is that of Yao Ming, who is reportedly considering his retirement at the end of the upcoming season. But this will be in the case if Ming isn’t able to prove himself fit enough or in clear words, hurts his leg again. According to experts, his chances of not playing are still little but if this player gets injured, then he would most probably retire. The Houston Rocket team also came up with a statement that stated that Yao was fit and ready to serve for them this season.
With the level of loyalty that Yao Ming has shown to the Rockets, experts say that they are anxious to know whether he would play as part of the Rockets’ plan of building a new team or will he be playing until he becomes a team veteran. Whatever he does, it will keep him with the Rockets. He appears to be one of the most loyal players in the NBA history. Experts add that there are a fair amount of chances that this player would end his career at Houston Rocket.
Dwight Howard is another player who, according to experts, seems to end his career in just one team. He is one of the big names in the Orlando Magic team and also one of the best centers in the NBA. Howard is a player who is in the hunt for a NBA title and experts are of the view that he is in a team that has the resources to bring in more players. Orlando Magic will surely be strong contenders in the coming years, as they wait for the right combination to form with Howard. It should be appreciated that even though this extravagant player has eyes of many teams on him who have tried to approach him also, but he still refused all the offers and continues to stay at the Magic.
Experts believe that Howard loves Orlando as people there give him a lot of love and call him their Superman.
