All NBA First Team announced; LeBron James bags the highest number of votes – NBA Update
The All NBA first, second and third teams have finally been announced. A panel of 120 broadcasters and writers voted to elect the All NBA Teams.
Just like in the All-NBA First Defensive Team, three times MVP LeBron James is headlining the team with 596 points which include 118 first team votes. He averaged 27.1 points per game this season while also averaging 6.2 assists
and 7.9 rebounds. 
Other players who have been selected for the All NBA First Team include the likes of Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder who stood second with 591 points. Durant earned his third consecutive scoring title this year as well
by averaging 28 points per game. He also had a career best average of 8 rebounds per game and 3.5 assists to lead his team.
Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers earned his 7th consecutive selection in the first team. He averaged 27.9 points per game which made him the second best scorer in the league during the regular season. With the selection,
Bryant made it to the All NBA First team for the 10th time in his career and is now tied with the likes of Michael Jordan, Bob Cousy, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar for the second highest first team selections.
Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers stood fourth in the standing with a total of 484 points to earn his second first team selection of his career. He was an instrumental part in the rejuvenation, the Clippers franchise has gone
through in just a year. He averaged 19.8 points and 9.1 assists per game during the regular season.
Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic got selected in the first team for the fifth straight season with 476 points. He led the league with his rebounding by averaging 14.5 rebounds per game and also posted 43 double-doubles during
the regular season.
Along with the First Team, the second and third team were also announced. Making it to the second team were the likes of Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Andrew Bynum, Tony Parker and Russell Westbrook.
The players who are selected in the third team are Carmelo Anthony, Dirk Nowitzki, Tyson Chandler, Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo.
