NBA questions with the deadline approaching – Part 4
What have the Cleveland Cavaliers installed for Antawn Jamison?

Antawn Jamison has almost completed one year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Antawn Jamison joined hands with the Cleveland Cavaliers during this time last season but times where different during back then.
At the end of the regular season last year, Cleveland Cavaliers where top of the Eastern Conference and this time they are last in the league and recently had a stretch losing 20 consecutive games. The difference between then and now is that Jamison reluctantly
joined hands with the Cavs considering the fact the LeBron James was the backbone of the Cavs and was in some splendid form. However, as he left the Cavs this summer things have never been the same for them ever since. The question that arises is that will
they let Antawn Jamison go or would he want to leave to the Cavs?
Well when it comes to the legal issue then his contract has a lot of technicalities but it’s up to the Cavs as to how they deal with this if they are thinking of rebuilding a new team, a team that can repeat last year’s performances.
There is a very strong chance of the Cavs not letting Jamison go anywhere and rebuild from the draft picks rather than trade away players. Considering the fact the Cleveland Cavaliers are maintaining the worst record in the league currently makes put them
top of the list for a lottery pick this upcoming draft pick at the end of the season.
The last time that the Cleveland Cavaliers went through such a slump, they ended up with Lebron James in the draft pick. LeBron James single handedly turned things around in his very first season in the NBA. However, this time out there are no players of
his caliber and the Cavs can just hope to land with a player who can at least carry the burden on his shoulders leading from the front just as LeBron James did during his entire time that he spent with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The rebuilding process starts for Detroit Pistons with trading away any players?

Hamilton is one of the decent players in the Detroit Pistons currently. Hamilton alongside Chauncey Billups came up with some of the best performances of his career. However, with the Pistons trading Billups to the Denver Nuggets was one thing that Hamilton
wasn’t impressed about. From the looks of it, he also wants a way out of the Pistons as well.
The fact that his contract is ‘big’ so it would have to be a three team deal unless the other party involves the likes of Carmelo Anthony to be traded to the Detroit Pistons. However, this doesn’t even have any chance of happening as Carmelo Anthony’s dream
of competing for the title would be better of fulfilled if he played with the Nuggets rather than moving to the Pistons.
Another of the players who is regularly up on the trade list is Tayshaun Prince. He is among some of the players who are always among the trade blocks but none of the teams seem to be interested in signing him. If Detroit Pistons want to rebuild, then they
need to trade away one of these players which can be done with a little negotiating and not being rigid on dealing when it comes to trading them.
