NBA questions with the deadline approaching – Part 6
Can Atlanta Hawks end up with a productive and reliable point guard?
Atlanta Hawks have been facing the problems for quite some time now. Though they have decent point guard in Mike Bibby but he isn’t able to come up with extra performances that can assure the team that he is the best man in the position for the team. Mike
Bibby being a human being also comes across injuries and during matches has to sit out for a few minutes and he his replacements during this time in Jeff Teague is by no means a player who can fill the gap.
One player in the Atlanta Hawks who changed his role in the team after his arrival is Joe Johnson. He is a very productive and talented point guard but he is paid by the Hawks to pass the ball around which is by no means what he does. This is a very big
mistake being made by the Hawks as they are not only wasting his talents but also preventing themselves from a very excellent man for the job on which none of the current players in the teams have a hold of.
Atlanta Hawks might be looking at point guards like to Andre Miller and Mo Williams to add to the squad. However, this should be kept in mind that there by no means in any condition to let go any players and neither do have any finances.
To pull off a big move they would require a big name to trade out which might go against them. Therefore, Atlanta would prefer to stay waiting and looking for someone who doesn’t cost much, isn’t aged and fits the role which means that they would wait for
the draft and build a player from zero potential which the best that they can afford at the this time.
Is anyone interested in Charlotte Bobcats Gerald Wallace?
The Charlotte Bobcats are looking to bring young blood into their squad and which would be only possible if the aged men in the squad make way.
Currently, two names hover around when it comes as to which players are most likely to be traded by the Bobcats. The two names include Stephan Jackson and Gerald Wallace. Though some of the teams are interested in signing the either of the two players but
the only problem which is the biggest is the piece tags on them. According to some the price tags that they hold are a lot of veterans which would lead them nowhere.
Though there are looking to bring young blood by no means are they ready to bring prices down which is going to result in no trades for both players. However, they haven’t been so bad bagging a few decent performances and helping the Charlotte Bobcats maintain
a good position in the Conference. The Bobcats are in the eighth and final play-off position and there is a very good chance that they will hold onto that spot if not finish above eighth position.
Though they are really interested in trading the two aged players in the squad but they know the importance of them which has restricted them from bringing the amount they are demanding down.
