NBA(national basketball association!)?

Question

I am 5'7 in 8th grade im an outstanding basketball player. Im a starter for my school team and have one of th nicest shots ever. I can get a lot of rebounds from my aggressiveness and im a team player. I really wanna make it into the NBA someone please help me tell me what it takes cause ill play all day all night if thats what it takes.

first of hope to got you grow at least above 6'2 second worry about making it to the collegiate level first since you cant go from high school second I thought the same thing when i was in 8th grade did the same things...... and i dont know the ratio for people making it in the NBA but its 1 and a freakn million.....i would take my chances buying lotto tickets if your looking for the big bucks more then NBA dreams.....and everyone knows who the NBA is and what the acronym stands for so you dont have to spell it out. Well, Tyler right now all you can do is do your best. Keep working on your game. You may have some tings that you are really good at, but there is always room to improve. When you get into high school you have to continue to work hard. Getting to the NBA is not easy. If you want to got to the NBA then you need to really want it. You have to play basketball for the love of the game, not for money. It is a proven fact that  people do better at things they like and want to do. Just work hard, hustle well, and remember teamwork wins games.

im 5'8 and going into the ninth grade and guarntee a spot on the varsity team next year. of course i would love to make it into the nba but chances are extremely slim so like my parents say focus on school and basketball comes second.

dont get ya head too big on that. everyone says good about themselves. as the saying goes "no matter how good you are, their is someone better!" especially if you a no more than a PG's height. cuz gurads are a dime a dozen. u will have too be super nice in order to make the league! the taller you are the better the odds cuz big bodies are hard to come by. look at Greg Ostertag n Shawn Bradley as proof to that lol. play hard, parctice, play with those bigger n better than you and have both hands in dribbiling and finishing at the basket. wont make the league as a 1 handed player. but making the league is like hittin the lotto so don't think its's easy cuz u gotta jumper. my shot was water and i could jump my a** off and there was still guards better than me. i was quick but didn't have a lighting 1st step like some very fast guards do have. i got hurt in college tryout so my hoop dreams ended sooner than planed. hope it don't happen to u but it's possible. gotta think about that. if u had the better jumper but that next man can shoot but got a AI like 1st step who u think the coach will pick up 1st? start ur goals as making the Varsity high skool team by 10th grade. then being the best in ya state at ur position by ya senior year, then playing 4 a D1 skool after you graudate. one in college then think NBA. gotta crwal b4 you walk. and hit the books, no grades no play! and if u don't make it ain't nothing worst than a has been that all he had going 4 him was basketball. now he's the neighborhood bum still tryna live the dream. sad but it happens!
