NBA’s All-Star Foot Locker Three-Point Contest 2011
You have one minute and your time starts now!
The long awaited NBA All-Star Weekend has finally come. It is now time for NBA’s top players to prove themselves and bring the best out of themselves. This year best 3-point players will aim to the Foot Locker Three Point Contest and jam from the long range
to contest for who is the best of the best.
The Three-Pointer contest will take place at the Staples Center on 19 February at 8:30 pm.
The contest will consist of two rounds in which six players will compete against each other in the first round to make it to the second one. The best three finishers of the rounds will be picked and they will make it to the finals.
There are not many limitations in the contest. There is a simple rule to it, hit as many three-pointers as you can!
So let us understand the contest. There will be five shooting stations made around the three-point line. The contestants will have to shoot three-pointers with the Official Spalding NBA game balls. Every single official NBA game ball will count for one point
each, whereas the Spalding NBA All-Star 2011’s “money ball” that is coloured red, blue and white will count for two points. Every player gets one minute and in that one minute he has to shoot as many balls as he can.
In the second round of the contest, the players with the highest score from the first round start shooting first. At the end, the player who has hit the most three-pointers makes it to the best. Easy isn’t it?
