Eight games took place on Monday, as 16 teams clashed against each other. Players went for the baskets, boards and three-pointers but only the best ones hit the best players list. Here is a selection of some of the best performers of the day:
Anthony Tolliver and Nikola Pekovic in the win over New Orleans Hornets
In the Minnesota Timberwolves’ clash with the New Orleans Hornets a large number of players lit up the arena with their performance. Anthony Tolliver, one of the Timberwolves’ reserves added a magic touch to the game as he dominated the floor for 28 minutes
while pulling out 12 points, and charging 4 out of 7 three-pointers in the win. The same team’s centre Nikola Pekovic scored 12 and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field and the free throw line.
Jason Terry in the Dallas Mavericks surge over Cleveland Cavaliers
Jason Terry was hot while the Cleveland Cavaliers were hitting their 25th straight loss. The player scored a whopping 23 points for the winning Dallas Mavericks along with four boards and five assists. The player helped Dallas secure a 9-0 this
season and scored 11 points in the fourth quarter alone. The player went chopping 7-7 from the free throw line. There is something about the player, when he scores at least 20 points, Dallas goes 10-1.
Kevin Martin while leading the Houston Rockets fly past Denver Nuggets
Kevin Martin had a fantastic Monday night. Not only did the player dish out his season-high seven assists but also added a large sum of nets to the leading team’s box score. The guard scored 37 points in a duration of 39 minutes, went 9-12 from the free
throw line and was 4-8 from the deep. The 28-year-old posted 18 points in the third quarter alone.
LaMarcus Aldridge in Trail Blazers flux over the Chicago Bulls
The leading team’s forward held his breath for scoring his career-high 42 points in a time period of 43 minutes. The player in doing so secured his team’s 27th victory of the season. The player progressed from to three different career-highs,
37 to 40 and then to 42 in a duration of three weeks. When asked about the career-highs, the player said, "Maybe back in high school, when everybody was 5-foot and I was 6’9”." 
Channing Frye in Phoenix Suns 104-92 win over the Warriors
As the Suns toppled the Golden State Warriors, Frye sealed 19 points and tossed 11 boards for a whopping double-double. The player shined on the floor for a duration of 39 minutes and secured 5-9 shooting from the three-pointer line, giving away a clear
opening to the winners.
