NCAA Football 09 Help Please

I'm gonna play my friend later and he's using Texas Tech and I'm using Clemson...I kno he's gonna bomb it to Crabtree almost every play...what defenses should I run to prevent the long ball...thanks!

haha well i also have this game. it looks like hes going to be passing alot being Texas Tech. you should run the dime package and go with alot of cover 3 and man to man with the safeties playing back zones

Cover 2 with man to man not cover 3 you tend to loose receivers in cover three run the ball and control the clock keep it out of his hands as much as possible!!!

The Dime.. might work

But, try and bring pressure.. surprise him.. Bring everyone, on some plays, he won't know what to do..

Press the corners and Blitz

he'll get frustrated..

Start early when, he's not really settled in.

Out of the 4-3

run a play where the coverage is deep and the two linebackers blitz from the outside.

put a lot of d-linemen on the line.. and kill him that way..

The only problem with a zone/bliz play

is the threat over the middle of the field.. but if he's throwing To crabtree

then the edges are all you need to worry about!

I don't know the exact details of the game, but some sort of quarter defense. Try Belichick's crazy 0-4-7 if its on game.

Either a Cover 2 or just double up on him. Either way I think u should put mad pressure on the QB so he cant throw it
