NCAA Womens Hockey?

Question

I am going into my Junior year in the fall of 2008 and I am looking to get recruited to play college womens ice hockey. What are the steps I need to take? SHould I send packages to coaches? What should these packages have in them? Should I e-mail the coaches or send them letters? If anyone has any first hand experiance can you describe you process to me. Please I am not sure what to do.

p.s. I am looking for D 1 colleges and a couple D 3
