  1. Generally yes, but there are so many ships that you need to be more specific.  Each ship has several restaurants,

  2. In my experience, it really makes no difference where you eat. It's all deplorable. NCL is no doubt the most over rated cruise line on the market.

  3. The food is always excellent, you must loose 10 lbs. before you go, so you don't hate yourself when you gain 15.

That's all they do is push food.  Have fun.

  4. There is no formal dining room. It's free style cruising you eat when and where you want to usually have 10 places to choose from some are included in the fee of the cruise, some have a $10-$20 cover charge once in you can eat what you want. Sometimes you can go during the resturants happy hour and you can get 1/2 price cover charge. The Buffet is ok for food, however they serve the same thing every day and they have to scoop the food for you due to germs I guess.  I thought the food was good in the resturants and those menues change usually!

  5. Norwegian doesn't have a formal dining room unlike other cruise lines.  It's part of their Freestyle Dining concept.

Unlike on other lines, you're not assigned a specific dining room, table or seating time.  On NCL you eat whenever and where ever you would like.

  6. I've always done Royal Caribbean and did my first NCL last year. When on a cruise one usually gains weight because the food is so good. On NCL I probably lost pounds. The food was bad. Royal Caribbean by far has the best food.

  7. Im a travel agent and Ive been on NCL twice, I dont like them to much to be honest.

My Favorites our Celebrity and Royal thats my opinion though.

I can offer you some good rates on your next vacation
