NCL Jade Cruise?

Question

Okay, well I'm going on a cruise to Europe in June....

And I was wondering some things....

They have one formal night i know.....but since it is a 14 day cruise will they have more?

I know its freestyle cruising but......I know they have at least one formal night.

And has anyone been on this ship?

How was it?

Or any other cruise ship by Norwegian Cruise Lines?

Seeing as I will be on the ship for quite awhile...

How is the life for teens on the ship?

Im 14 and I turn 15 in September but I will be 14 when Im on the ship....

On NCL all formal nights are optional.  I was on a thirteen night cruise on the NCL Jade and I only recall two optional formal nights.  However, since they were optional, I really did not take much notice.  

I have been on two NCL cruises.  The NCL Jade in February 2008 (the maiden voyage of the NCL Jade) and the NCL Star in October 2005.  Below are links to my review of the two cruises if you would like to read them (the reviews are long - about 20 pages for the Star and about 30 pages for the Jade) ...

I've never been on a Europe cruise but I have been on an NCL cruise to the Bahamas.  All formal nights were optional on our cruise.  there were also some restaurants that were fromal but those again are optional.  They had a pool and a game room on board.  They also had a lot of dance parties.  Each day they would leave us info on upcoming events in our rooms.  Hope this helps.  Enjoy your cruise!

Hey!

You will love NCL! the jade is an old ship they have refurbished, so should be lovely.

Ship is excellent for someone your age - so much to do; kareoke pods, bowling alleys - you will have a great time im sure.
