NCL cruise questions???

Question

i am going on the NCL pearl to alaska this summer and i was wondering what is there to do for teens?? I know there is a like a club but is it fun?? Will i meet other teens?? Is the food any good :)

The key is to GO to the scheduled teen events. You all lie about your age and try to sneak into the higher age group, and are bored... so avoid that. They will work hard to entertain you with activities and prizes---- so GO! My sons are now 17-22, and been cruising for 10 years. The only time they had a "so-so" time, is when they DIDN'T go to the teen activities. Some cruise lines even have a special newsletter for you, so ask....

Food is really good, but pizza and hamburgers are always available. In the dining room, some items are "off the menu", so ask if you don't see anything you like.  Be adventurous with your food---- try the snails (it may be the only time you have a chance to). Cheeseburgers are always available... :)   I always wanted my kids to try something new, so they would order the duck (try it), and then ask for a cheeseburger if they hated it.

FREE 24 hour room service too. Just tip them a few dollars. SO HAVE FUN!

I have not been on the NCL Pearl but I have been on its twin sister ship the Gem.  It has the same features and layout.  Yes you will have fun.  The ship has a few things just for kids including a video arcade, a water slide, a bowling alley, a basketball court and you can also get in the pools and hot tubs.

No one can say positively how many other teens will be on the ship, but there will be others and you will have fun.  The food on ship is good and you can get something 24 hours a day, either at an eating place or by picking up the phone in your cabin and ordering the free room service.   The breakfast and lunch buffets are great, pizza every day at lunch, and the dinner meals in the main dining room are fabulous.

Ms; NCL as well as the other cruise lines do everything they can to make sure they have the lastest music and such. During the summer months there will be more teens for you to meet and hang out with. I have been on several NCL cruises and the food was always good. Try the buffet and they always have cook outs and pizza around the pool area. You will Love Alaska the wildlife & Beauty of Nature at its finest. Been there 22 times. Enjoy.
