NEC Nijmegen’s Lasse Schone will leave his current side, says Rob Groener – Dutch Eredivisie news
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/NEC-c40018 Nijmegen’s Lasse Schone could be on his way out of his current side by the end of the ongoing summer transfer market. The 25-year-old has an ongoing contract that keeps him at McDOS Goffertstadion until the summer of 2012, but the midfielder has set
his sights to take the next step in his career.
The 25-year-old arrived in Nijmegen in the 2008/09 season. He has played 67 matches so far and has managed to find the back of the net on 12 occasions. His performances this season were impressive and attracted interest from a host of Dutch top tier clubs
with Feyenoord Rotterdam being the favourite to land his signature.
Rob Groener, Schone’s agent, has revealed that his client is looking to a move away from his club. Groener, however, admitted that neither he nor his client have heard anything from the Rotterdam giants.
“There is increasing interest in Lasse, but we have heard nothing from Feyenoord as yet. It all depends on the plans and opportunities for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 in the coming years. Of course, he has previously worked with (Feyenoord coach) Mario Been, who knows him
well”, Groener was quoted as saying to the media.
Schone’s agent, then, went on to reveal that his client is open for a move to any club.
“In general, it is true that Lasse is open to a departure from Nijmegen this summer, but whether Feyenoord is an option is still unclear”, Schone’s agent concluded.
Recent reports suggest that should http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leroy-Fer-c22126 move away from Feijenoord Stadion, only then would the fallen Eredivisie giants table a bid for the 25-year-old midfielder. However, the Stadiumclub have reportedly set their sights on SC
Heerenveen’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luc-Castaignos-c22500, who is set to start for Inter Milan in the upcoming season.
If rumours are to be believed, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Utrecht-c39237 are taking keen interest in signing the promising midfielder in the ongoing summer transfer market. Both sides are looking to add creativity to their respective midfields, and see the 25-year-old
as a perfect addition to their squad.
Reports indicate that the Danish international would be moving away from McDOS Goffertstadion in the ongoing summer transfer market, but a move to Rotterdam looks an unlikely switch at the moment.
