Reports confirm that Belgian outfit, Club Brugge KV, have successfully signed NEC Nijmagen’s Niki Zimling, who was on loan from Serie A outfit http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Udinese-Calcio-c40789. The defensive midfielder is the second player to join the Belgian giants this summer, as Bjorn
Vleminckx also signed for the Blue-Black earlier this month.
The 26-year-old midfielder had expressed his desire to take the next step in his career by moving away from Netherlands in the summer transfer market and the Belgian outfit were quick to offer him a four-year contract.
After negotiating for some days, it has been confirmed that both parties have agreed on the terms and the 26-year-old defensive midfielder has signed a contract that will keep him at Jan Breydel Stadium until the summer of 2015. Reports suggest that FCB
have paid 500 thousand Euros to acquire Zimiling’s services.
The Danish International revealed that he signed for the Belgian giants because they are a good team and are ambitious to win silverware every season.
Zimiling said, “I chose the club because they are as ambitious as me. We share the same hunger to win prizes.”
FCB management was delighted with the acquisition of the Danish International. Sven Vermant, the Blue-Black football operations manager, believes that the inclusion of the 26-year-old will certainly strengthen his side and admitted that the Danish International
has great abilities that will help his side in achieving silverware.
Vermant said, “Niki Zimling is a player with a great running ability...and is strong. He is a leader with a winning mentality, and a defensive midfielder who provides the right balance in the team.”

the league table.
Club Brugge finished fourth in the Belgian Jupiler League this term and qualified to play in UEFA Europa League next season. FCB seem like working on a squad which can mount an assault on the league title as well as on the European front. Zimiling and Vleminckx’s
acquisition is certainly a step in the right direction to attain the aforementioned objectives.
