  1. r u the kid or the parent? idk any parent who says "so like."

anyways myspace is only as dangerous as you make it. Don't be an idiot about it. Only add people you know, don't talk to stranger or accept there adds. Don't wright the place you live in the top thingy (you can wright anything) put your profile on private etc....

oh and dont make yourself look like a w***e that always helps.

idk why kids should even have myspaces, its just a popularity contest to them like seriously all people care about is how many friends/comments you have

    , its obnocious

  2. make her give you her password and then log in and check her stuff randomly (pictures, messages, comments, etc.).  you can set it to private so only her friends can see her profile.  if she changes her password, just make her delete it in front of you.

  3. let her have a myspace. but make sure its on a private setting so no one that she hasnt added as a friend can view her profile..

if you do this. its a pretty safe site...

  4. well that depends on how smart you are, and if you are a kid who likes to click on everything just to see what it does and if you are easily tricked by spammers into installing malicious software onto your computer

all it takes is one wrong click and your entire computer's security is vulnerable, including bank account numbers and anything else you keep on your computer

but then again, the same holds true no matter what site you are talking about (even yahoo answers!) - spammers are everywhere on every site - trying to make money off people who click on things they shouldnt be clicking on

so tell your parents, if they are worried about you using myspace, then they also have to worry about you using every other website in the world (including yahoo answers) - it's not like online preditors ONLY use myspace... that would just be silly....

  5. ok im not a parent but

i told my parents i had myspace and they woz like ok

i think your being  a bit over protective but thats just me

let her live a little !

  6. Blah, Blah...Just make sure that u have her password and login every once in a while to see what people have posted...and so on...etc.

  7. use a fake name.

dont put were you actually live.

    put everything on private:)

  8. Myspace has it's own safety area for users and parents.

    Go here http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseact...

Myspace is a very safe place if you know what you are doing.

I suggest when the page is set up you go through all the privacy options, which are located in account settings, next to the profile picture on the main page.

Change them all to what you want, and keep the password and login info.

    :)
