  2. If they are trying to play into your fear that you aren't white enough, do you think the people who make this product care enough about you to make sure that it won't harm you? What are the long term effects of these chemicals? You don't know. Are you willing to gamble?

The author of Black Like Me darkened his skin color with chemicals...and they killed him.

  3. I don't think it would do you any damage, after all it's made to help the skin.

  4. yes you can, but don't expect it to actually lighten your skin.

OTC products are not going to do anything like that, your skin color is created by melanin in your body a simple cream will not change the pigmentation of this melanin. You will probably have smoother skin and more moisturized but thats all.

It also wouldn't do much for stopping aging either. But that is neither here nor there.

ETA: Up your SPF (I use SPF 45 once I get my base tan, excellent coverage and stops me from getting any darker). A tan will fade naturally on its own with less sun exposure or more protection. It is created by UVA and UVB rays, the melanin in your skin protects you form burning, UVA rays oxidate preexisting melanin turning it darker while the UVB stimulates the production of more melanin. That is tanning in a simple nutshell.

  5. short answer, yes.  This would just mean it either has an extra moisturizing formula or perhaps a vitamin a or c derivative which helps deal with dead skin and sometimes minor skin damage.  Nothing in it would be harmful to a younger person, though sometimes a person can be sensitive to the product and it causes skin irritation.

  6. well i guess you could i dont know what damage it does to ur skin because thats to repair skin and if ur skins fine i really dont know. any way try returning it?
